To the OP...I still don't understand WHY you want to drive your tractor that distance to/from house/property? It seems to me you are going to end up with a tractor that is not ideally suited for either location. It'll be too big for the current house, and you'll be kicking yourself later for not going bigger at the new property.
For 0.4 acre or whatever it is, I would keep the current riding mower or replace it with a cheap used one to get by until you get moved out.
