Kubota L3750dt
I've been looking for a used Kubota for mowing the yard. Already have a L3750 for farm work, so the other one would be for mowing only. Trying to find one in the $5K -$7 range. What models do you'll suggest. Want hydro and 60'' mmm. Been looking on Craigslist and dealers lots but everything seems to be too new or to old where are they hiding?

Mike - Welcome to TBN! I really enjoy the time that I can spend here. I hope it will be as enjoyable for you. I can't help you much, but I can tell you that I have a B7500HSD with 60" MMM to mow about 2.5 acres of lawn. It works well for me, but I wouldn't have a CUT just for the lawn. Prior to the Kubota, I had a 20HP Wheelhorse garden tractor with 48" MMM that mowed just fine.

If you share more information on your intended use (finish/rough lawn, amount to mow, flat/sloped/hills, pick up/leave clippings, etc.), you should get lots of good advice.

Best wishes on your search!

I don't have a Zero Turn and never have. I know some people think they are great for mowing. Kubota makes a Diesel Zero turn and you may be able to get a used one for that price range. Since you only want it for mowing and have a tractor already for tractor work then I think the ZTR would work for you. Barlows in Somerset has/had some because a friend from Church had asked me to see if they had any and they did a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks for the welcome! Already been down the zero turn path(27hp60in cut Dixie Chopper)Yard is too rough for ZTR , have a 42'' cut Husky from Tsc. Wanting something like a B series for bigger tires(hopefully a smoother ride).

Maybe you can talk Randell DEX3361 into trading his BX1500 to Barlows for the B3200 and then you buy his BX1500. I know it's a great mower.

I'd keep my eyes open for a used BX or B series. It might be a little tough to find a nice one for that price range but you might get one that is a little older or has some hours on it for that price.

If you do end up looking for a BX make sure you look to see that the hydrostatic fan is still there. Not an expensive part but a PITA to replace ;)

Anybody have any info about a 1999 or 2000 yr model B2400 . Problems with certain years or models?

Most of these Kubota machines are fairly good. SOme have features that others do not but from the years of use and quality that I have seen, the Kubota models are top notch. For me, it comes down to a matter of horsepower and expectations or needs. I see three different B2400 makes here.

B Series Prior Product

I also see that the B7800 is listed as a prior product.

Welcome to the forum. The BX seems to be aimed more at mowing than the B and some have reported lawn damage when turning with some of the B's. I have never owned a B, but did a lot of research/reading as I thought that is what I wanted. However, I would expect the B to ride smoother.

The BX really sticks to hillsides if that would be an issue.
