1999 CC 3186

I am going to look at the above garden tractor this weekend. The tractor has 450 hours on it & is alledgely in very good shape. Question is, are this good tractors, reliable, easy to work on etc. ???

Will be using it to mow ~1.5 acres weekly mainly & may get into some gardening w/ it as well.

I want something my 14 & 12 yr olds can operate easily...

Thanks for any comments...Im not real familiar w/ CC tractors!

The 3K's are the cadillac of the CC garden tractors. A lot of tractor for 1.5acres, but for the right price, why not! 450hrs is nothing if she's in good shape, no leaks, etc.

I know its overkill, but I was wanting something that I am not going to have to work on all time...

Does 2400 sound like a resonable price for such machine?

Is there a website that shows the specifications for this tractor? What attachments it supports, etc...

As far as I know, any of today's 3K series attachments will mount right up. Check cubcadet.com I dunno the condition of this 3186, but if it comes with a nice clean mower deck and the whole package looks good, $2400 for a 1999 sounds like a bargain! You could triple those operating hours. 3000 series machines are $5-6K new. You couldn't get a 2006 2542 for $2400.
