1995 Cat e70b purchase

I am looking to purchase this machine for use on my own property. It will be used for road building and land clearing. I am not concerned with how fast I can complete the work as long as I can get it done. Any experience with this model or flaws you are aware of? The present owner has used it on a farm. He has done some work to it. The top piston on the boom drips but all others have been repacked. It looks to be in original condition which seems very good. What do you think?

How do the tracks look? Chains and sprockets have been replaced.

Still thinking about this excavator. It has a Wayne Roy coupler. Could the coupler be made rigid? Could the hydraulics from the coupler be used to convert the mechanical thumb to a hydraulic thumb? Would it be an easy switch?
