Oil & Fuel 1626 dipstick extension

Old habits like checking oil level before putting a machine to work are hard to break, even if the designers play hide the dipstick ? With my fat clumsy fingers it was a challenge at the least. Took about an hour and an old S10 dipstick assembly trimmed to size but now it痴 just a matter of popping the hood.

Great idea! I’d like to do this as well. What year S10 dipstick do I need, what kind of tubing bender did you use, do you know the overall length, and do you have a picture of where the new tubing meets the engine? Thanks
