My 1500D radiator has suddenly sprung a leak. Can a radiator shop repair these? If not, are there common replacement cores available from radiator shops that can be soldered into the frame? While I have the radiator out, I might as well change the hoses. Are there commonly available replacements from US models or other manufacturers? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

A good radiator shop can repair any radiator . My radiator for my Kubota L2201DT was rotten . Full of pin holes . They had a new core made up for it and transfered the original top tank to it. They had to make a new bottom tank and solder in the neck.Took all of 1 day .Less than a new radiator from kubota .

The local radiator shop could not guarantee any repairs on the existing core due to its condition so they are going to charge me $145 to replace the core. That beats the $390 price I was quoted for a new Yanmar radiator.
