I had a similar problem on my YM1500 and the culprit was the engine or sleeve O-ring on one cylinder allowing the coolant into the oil. I replaced the head gasket, but my old one looked OK. Maybe I had it explained to me wrong, but I haven't had any problems since replacing the O-Rings.
