looking for seat covers for 1100 anyone have a suggestion where to find. cabelas show some but when i called to order was told that shipped direct from manufacturer and would be 3-5 weeks. 1100 has automotive style cloth seats in it. not the best choice for me and my bunch.

I got my seatcovers from Green Mountain Sports. I have been very happy with them. They are made out of cordura nylon and are very tough. They also matched the camo real good too. I don't think they show them yet for the 1100 but the seat may still be the same. Anyway, if it isn't, I'm sure they will make you some. They make the covers themselves. You can call them and ask.

Hauled my first load of wood today. Green heavy wood. Would never know it was back there.

After 10 hours on the machine I figured out a couple things. When using the "knob" to help shift you press brake pedal, then pull and release the knob. When I first got it I would keep the "knob" pulled and try to shift. Didn't know you had to release it first. You can also skip the "knob" altogether and just stab the HST pedal and then shift.

Also the muffler has a spark arrester in it. After 10 hours it was black and partially clogged. Very fine screen. Well, you know where that spark arrester is now. Notice better pickup.

The more I use this machine the more I like it.

The ranger is my one of my good friends/neighbor. He bought the ranger last year, top of the line limited edition with cab. He and I have a friendly rivalry. I buy a toy, he gets a bigger one etc. This time I got him good. The Ranger is a great machine, especially if you are going to do some serious trail riding or go nuts in a sand pit. But, like me, he got it primarially for property maintenance and for his wife to use on thier 100 plus acres. Does almost no trails or sand pits. The RTV1100 is a workhorse and the heat and a/c is great for the wife. He is now talking about trading/selling the ranger for an 1100.

In the picture with the wood in the back you will notice my cab doors are open. I had the stereo playing just to rub it in.:D :D

PICTURES OF CAMO 1100 ,AIR IS GREAT.
Bigdeer,

Congrats on your RTV.
If you plan on trailering it, you should consider a larger capacity trailer.
You appear to be waaayyyyyy over the weight capacity for that FeatherLite trailer.
Check your VIN tag on the RTV. There's a number in "Vehicle Reference Mass" which probably states it's about 2,900 pounds.

bczoom, you are definitely correct. trailer was overloaded. will use the double axle trailer from now on. have had tendency(in the past) to push the limits of the featherlite trailer because it is so easy to handle and pull. thanks for the advice

Thats good. I'm glad they could help you get some seat covers. They are very durable. Mine is still like new. They will be a little stiff at first but will soon conform to the seat.
