1100....finally!!

Got "the" call this am, was there by 1pm with check in hand. Loaded her up and got it home. Went for my first ride as soon as I got it off the trailer. It was 95 degree's and very humid. A/C worked great at the 2 setting( 4 available). This is a sweet machine. I was worried that it wouldn't be fast enough on the trails, but it goes plenty fast enough. You gotta remember this is a heavy machine, going about 15-20 mph is more than fast enough thru the woods. This thing is tuned waaaay down, very easy to get another 5mph over the top speed of 25mph. Kubota must want to keep this machine limited to 25mph for some reason. As someone who races motorcycles and has a couple of high performance sports cars I can tell you it would be extremely easy to get a fair amount more hp. The air cleaner intake has a metal screen for example plus the throat to it chokes it off. Not that it is underpowered, I just saying it there for the taking if you want it.

All in all a well built solid machine. Tomorrow it off to circuit city to get some tunes.

That's what life is ALL about, gettin' what exactly what a man wants !!!! So Happy for you, & the fact it has all the power you need. I can say, in Feb, they didn't have the 1100 series units, but we have talked here about purchaseing another this fall, and I really believe it will be the 1100. The more I look, the more I like. Don't get me wrong, ain't nothing wrong with our new 900, but if the second one is being purchased, it will be the 1100 with air & heat. Also, like 'dem head rest on them, fixin' to have to see if I can order a pair for mine....

I am glad you got your 1100 Let me know if you find the correct connector that will mate to the wiring harness for the radio interconnect as I have said in a post the speaker are installed behind the roof headliner.

Nice RTV! It looks like you got another great machine for your Kubota collection.

BTW, the transmission limits speed so you will get very little (if any) extra speed out of it. They limit it to under 25mph to keep it in the light utility vehicle category for safety reasons...etc.

No real options...yet. Will be putting in radio/cd player tomorrow. Paid about 15k, but I had ordered it back in January with a $500 deposit. Expect to pay around 16,250k now as demand is high. I will pm you on the cars.

Talked to my dealer this morning on another matter on a tractor, while on the phone I asked about the 1100's, he said they are in route, should be in this evening or in the morning. Said he had four orange & two camo 1100's on the shipment. Are they going to have a high mount air cleaner for these new units ?

The speaker are installed at the factory behind the headliner if you look in the dash you will find a connector that terminates all of the connections the antenna lead is also terminates in the dash.

I salute you !!! That is one beautiful machine. I would even take that to church !!!! See that someone wanted to take that " Test Fire" run off the trailer with you. I'm very proud for you, now, this winter, put some blood in the back....
Also, Deerlope said it was to cold & to much snow for the fireplace.
Heck, down here in the south, we use them for BBQ pits in the winter ...

Just purchased a orange 900 a couple of months ago, and plan on
purchasing another RTV this fall. That unit you have there looks like the ultimate hunting wagon for sure.

thanks for the nice comments. my daughter has put the only time on it so far. i plan to see if the rtv will make a nice air conditioned dove blind opening day. it is always so hot here for dove season. the fireplace was my wifes project a while back. it turned out fine so i have been known to take credit for it.

Glad you finally got your 1100 in, mikeyd. I looked at the pictures and it is really nice. I have a camo 900 and I really like it. If I were to buy another one it would be the camo 1100 also. I see you are getting it fixed up with the stereo, speakers and high mount air cleaner. It looks too nice to get dirty. My son kids me a lot because I don't want my RTV to get any dirt or mud on it.
I know you are really excited and hope you have a lot of fun with it.
