Interesting grapple design. I've never seen one that looked like it had a toothbar welded on to a grapple before. It should make brush clearing very efficient but I wonder if it will impede digging for roots. On the other hand, mine has a ?2" tube welded between the tines at about the same position and it doesn't stop me from digging though so probably the teeth on yours won't interfer either.

How much does that grapple weight? It looks very delicate because it has so many tines but they are all well tied together so I imagine it is quite strong.

Having had the same Millonzi you have I can say this one is built heavier, It weighs just under 600lbs, and is made of 3/8 hi tensile steel.

The high tensile steel explains the smaller looking tines.

Does the "brush cutter" bar between the tines affect digging at all? If it doesn't then it would be great for ripping out vine roots etc.

I haven't really gotten to use it as it only arrived yesterday, the front bar seems to act like s blade to brush. So I imagine vine roots will be sheared as well.

Looks like a great grapple for land clearing :thumbsup: (and about everything else for that matter.) I'm sure you will be really happy with it! I like how it has that toothbar design, seems like that would work awesome on the smaller saplings that sometimes bend over on you.

If you end up buying a mill someday, you'll love having the open bottom grapple with a semi flat design like that. I use mine all the time to stack/sort lumber on. Looking forward to some action shots

Thanks, I'm definitely getting a mill at some point. I'm leaning towards a LT28 for the mobility. The grapple design was influenced for future log handling chores. I'm leaning towards selling the 4 in 1 for a regular bucket at this point. There's a guy not too far from you selling a used 110 bucket but he's not too willing to deal.

I do like the bar instead of a pipe out front. Sometimes I wish I had a bar between one or two of my tines to cut/pull smaller brush, and other times I'm glad mine is open for deep digging in my different soils (sugar sand to hard red clay to black gumbo). Looking forward to your review.

So I've had the grapple for a little while now and it's fantastic. The notched flat bar does have a shearing affect on vegetation and it's also a handy rock bucket. The paint has worn off on the high contact area but that's the nature of the beast. I've moved at least 80 yards of large stones with the grapple and it's been flawless. For logs and brush it's fantastic and I haven't seen anything negative about the dual lids. The one item I will be adding is the hydraulic hose spring as that's the only complaint I have with it. Notch it worth a look if you're in need of a HD grapple!
I really have been slacking with the pic lately as it seems I'm always in a hurry to get things done. I promise some action shots and maybe even a video over the winter if the ground ever freezes as I have another large oak to drop on my lawn.
