I was working in the woods yesterday and saw fluid coming from one of my rear R4’s. After removing it I noticed a few small pieces of wood had wedged themselves between the tire and the rim unseating the tire - maybe one inch of circumference. I dug out the pieces… should the bead be okay or is it likely I’ll have to remove/reinstall the tire?

You'll know if it leaks. If it leaks, I'd take it off and deflate the tire. Do your best to open up the bead where the wood was. Get some bead sealer and put that in there and reinflate. Should be good.

If you have filled rear tires I’d just keep an eye on it. What kind of fluid is in there?

Could be Rim Guard, a sticky beet juice derivative or methanol, which is usually windshield washer fluid. You probably don’t want to mess with it to much or you’ll lose the fluid.

Lay the tire down flat, with questionable bead topside. Then break the bead, clean out any debris, and re-inflate. Won't lose any fluid that way.

It is the way I originally filled my rear tires with windshield washer fluid.

Great advice! Thank you to all who posted.
