1000 Plows

What will a scrapyard pay for steel if you are going to sale it to then.A lady up the road has a lot of plows and old Disk Harrow that are took a part . She said she would sale it all to me for what a scrapyard would pay her for it.She may have a 1000 plows. I need this to go with all the junk I have.But I never have any junk that i can use.

I see lots of rebuildable stuff there and lots of spare parts.
And did I mention, lots of weight to move. Scrap yards will not pay much over .02 cents per pound, Think about that

round hear its $30 a ton "mixed" scrap = 1.5 cent a pound

And I have a question for you, how does one lady have 1,000 plows etc. ten big dealers wont have that many put together, thats 100 per dealer? sounds weird

They were her husband I am counting the Plow points and all.She has a lot of Plows that are one size smaller then the BC turnPlow but I don't Remember what you call that one .Her husband bought out a dealer that sold use Plows.((Sweeps Chisel Plows ,.Sweeps Field cultivator points ,.Sweeps for row crops ,.Turn Shovels ))Now you see. A lot of it is small stuff.But it is a lot of stuff.

Check pricing at your local scrap yards if there is more than 1 you will get a competitive price which can and will change daily.Go ahead and give the woman a little extra she probally could use it.With what you have described
you getting a deal and can still feel good about it.
