I would think that you guys already aer aware of this but you should not use crome hard sockets with and impact wrench. You can buy afull set of 1/2 deep black sockets at harbor for under 25 bucks. I used chrome sockes for a years on my rattle guns until one day one shattered. Man what a lot of energy is released when that happens. Luck I had glasses on or I would not be able to see the tiny numbers on the side of the sockets anymore.

I now use proper impact sockets, cheap insurance.
