You know, I like those small Sports far more than the full size Bronco. And I like all the vintage appearance packages and wheels they offer for them now. I haven't driven one yet though.
I did test drive the full size Bronco. My salesman was hyping it up and all the power and to be honest my VW...
For me, even compared to John Deere which has probably the biggest dealer network of anyone, I feel safest going with Kubota for the long run.
Granted I know nothing about Korean brands, one thing Kubota has over even JD is Kubota manufactures all their components. From engine to transmission to...
Not positive about right now, but I went through whole goods a year ago and got another set of rims and tires.
I basically got the rims for free versus buying just the tires, even form the tire shops I have my commercial account pricing with.
A good dealership should be able to help you out.
The new rear storage box got delivered here and I finally got time to put it on. I like it. makes it look more complete now, filling up that empty space.
Now it doesn't look like a cab and chassis truck any more, LOL
Now just waiting for rear window that I got from an aftermarket company, but...
It was just something to get used to, especially after driving both Polaris's and my RTV-X1100C that would all try and throw you through the windshield.
There are numerous clutch kits and programmers for CF Moto available from companies like Main Street Cycle, but I'm leaving it alone for now.
Ya, I was originally looking at the 50 inch wides and everyone kept telling me to go wider.
I'm definitely going to have a learning curve with the SxS. I have to learn the limits. On my Sportsman atv, I could at least stand up and shift weight like on a dirt bike crossing washouts, etc.
That looks nice too. I never have looked at a Kawi.
But my wife is the same. I have that nice passenger seat on my Sportsman but she just wasn't comfortable on it any more.
I imagine there will be places I can't go any more with the CF due to it's 64 inch width, but the added comfort is a good...
Hope so. So far I really enjoy it. It is quieter and less hot inside than an RZR 900 and 1000. But it has a really cool sound. The LED headlights are good enough that I don't need to add any forward facing lights. Seat, ride and handling is very good.
It does have some engine braking, but not...
88 grand!!!! Good God!!!!!
So someone asked why I would spend 20 grand on a toy? This is why. This is what I do. I work two weeks a month, and I ride atv and antique tractors the other two.
Worked hard my whole life, now this is how I enjoy.
I live where I can literally leave my yard and ride...
Remember when you used to buy your new pickup truck for 50 grand?
I think at that point of the price of that Ranger or Can Am, I would just buy a street legal Jeep and become one of those Jeep people.
See my loaded RTV with Boss plow and that CF Moto? I paid for both of them with what that Can Am is, LOL
Actually less. Both for the price of the Polaris I showed here.
Here's one I never heard of before. The dealer I just bought my new SxS from sells them.
https://www.lovolagriculture.ca/en
$48, 141 Canadian for a 50 horse with cab and loader. $38,000 for 40 horse. Ten year warranty.
But when I walked over to have a look, I........well I didn't look too...
And look behind and above the front tire. Those are all your air conditioning lines and oil cooler lines. Wouldn't last long where I go. One well placed branch is taking those out.
Took it out for a short ride today. Happy so far. More than enough power for me, rides nice and best of all, it sounds awesome. Quieter than the RZR 900, 1000 and Can Am 1000's I have driven, and has that nice vee twin rumble out the dual exhaust.
That's why I went for the bargain, and I also never finance. If I want something, I save the money and pay cash. At least that way I'm not paying interest and financing charges.
Those Honda Talon's are sweet! I also looked at that and a 1000 Pioneer and both are $36,000 here.
Went and picked up my CF at dealer today. There was a new Polaris Ranger 1500 North Star in the showroom. $48,000!!! LOL
Didn't ride it much when I got home, but like it so far. Seats are vey...
Forgot to add that CF Moto also has a partnership and builds engines for KTM motorcycles who has dominated everything from AMA enduro to motocross/supercross and Moto GP.
In response to a few points made here.....yes it's a Chinese company. I'm not a fan of that, but as has been said here....look on all your good old American made stuff, including Harley Davidson and you will find lots of "made in China" stamps. So one way or another, you are supporting them...
Just for comparison, the cheapest Polaris, the 50 inch RZR Trail starts at $20,869 here in Canada. Then you would have to add the winch, roof, mirrors, turn signals, etc.
Got this fully equipped as standard for $15,999
I had considered a Sidekick before because we love our 1100, but figured since I already have that for utility use, I may as well go with a pure sport style machine.
I too have heard horror stories about CF, but I know lots of people that have 2000 miles on them trouble free.
Two different...
My old 2004 Sportsman 500 H.O. is getting to the point I don't really trust going too far into the forest by myself any more. It still looks like new, but all the splines, yokes, u-joints and suspension parts are all pretty wore now.
This was one of the best things I ever owned. Never ever...
Well, I did it. Gunna try a CF Moto. While the wife and I really enjoy trail riding in the Kubota RTV-X1100C, there's a couple times a year I have friends from out of town come visit and they all have Polaris and Can Am 1000's and the RTV just isn't fast enough for long distance rides with those...
I considered one of those and it's NH Boomer twin back in the day, just couldn't find a dealer interested in selling me one.
They looked like a very nice tractor but I could never find a lot of owners on these forums.
They were made and powered by Shibaura though (who also made the old Ford...
Yes there are. You just have to do your research and pick and choose wisely.
I've had everything from the VW dealer putting their hoist through the floor of my new VW doing an oil change, Polaris dealer charge $550 to service my atv yet every drain and filler plug was still buried in mud, parts...
Around here I HAVE to do all my own service and repairs because I have had problems with every dealer in my town with everything from atv's to class 8 trucks.
I live in the town of "ain't my job and I don't give a......." LOL
I totally understand. And I should have not worded what I said as "stupid paying these prices" Some people HAVE to buy now. I'm just fortunate I have all the tractors and implements I NEED to do my work. So for me, it is just not smart to pay a pile more money just to gain a little more power or...
LOL, ya, frame off, he redid everything thinking it was for his kid and he was going to be driving it for a long time.
But then gave his son his new Tacoma.
So I jumped on it.
And now, here in soviet Canuckistan (or Can'tada) you have to get an appraiser to appraise value to change ownership so...
2013 with 900 hours. All fluids and filters changed every fall. I don't wait for hours. Not sure if I want to sell but you can PM me for details about it.
I really don't like how the replacement prices are looking, LOL
I don't know how people are still willing to buy new? I have a good job and my own business and I'd feel stupid putting out that much money for a new tractor or even a pickup truck.
Along with my old tractors, I just picked up an old frame off restored 2003 Ford Ranger FX4 Level II to replace...
I see Kubota Canada removed all the prices again from their web site. Bet I know what that means. Another increase.
I was almost ready to trade in my B2620 TLB for a new LX4020 cab, but then I just saw that an LX3520 HSDCC with only a loader is $59,603. So by the time I add backhoe, and remotes...
I wouldn't know because I refuse to buy new Kubota's (or any other brand) here in Soviet Canukistan. I like my money too much to blow $90,000 on a Grand L6060 with a loader.
Thanks everyone. My daughter had a calendar made for Christmas that is pics of all my tractors working on the property.
And her and my wife had a blanket made with a picture of the Ford on it.
Yes. I have hydro damns all around me where I am. But all the hydro power in the world will do you nothing when you have an inadequate and outdated grid.
There are towns here in northern Ontario that have had to turn down industries because they don't have the power to support them.
And my power frequently goes out, sometimes for up to 8 hours, thus why I have a gas generator.
Electric is NOT my future, LOL
I've said it before...as a child I used to cut and install real asbestos in wood stoves at my fathers manufacturing shop, and I've ingested more diesel than you can imagine over the last 37 years, including being showered by diesel fuel in the wind while spraying the dump box when hauling...
Right now, the ONLY brand new diesel's I buy are 26 h.p. and under like my compact tractor and RTV. But I can guarantee you if they mandate DPF mufflers or ECM's and electronics on these small machines, I will never buy one of those new again either.
I've played the DPF game for a number of...
Yep, Massey/Hesston makes some of the best hay equipment in the world.
And I was surprised to see there are still a LOT of Massey combines running in western Canada.
Wow, seeing some of these rates makes me believe I live in the wrong country for sure. I could barley make $70 per hour with a $220,000 dump truck, LOL
To my surprise though, I have made $60/hour a couple times rebuilding water front retaining walls for locals with my little Kubota. I didn't...
Got some more goodies in today for the 55 Allis Chalmers CA. Big thanks to Steve and JoAnna Barbato of B&B Custom Circuits in NJ for supplying me with a new heavy duty water pump, all new rubber and steel water lines and an electronic ignition conversion kit with hot coil. Even threw in a can of...
Took a pic of my newest pup, Allis Chompers standing on the Allis Chalmers. Then took the 67 Ford out for some fresh air today since it was nice and warm out today.
I don't know Hay Dude. All these "proposed" internal combustion bans the gov dreams of, are only for light duty vehicles.
So what I see coming is every SANE soccer mom will soon be driving a 350/3500 truck because no one I know personally wants anything to do with an electric automobile.
And...
There's something about the 2008 to 2010 3040/3045/3050's I have always liked. I really wanted one back then but I couldn't find a New Holland dealer within an 8 hour radius of me that had any interest in selling me one.
I think 2011/12 was still the old style Shibaura Boomer. I think the CVT model was the last one they kept around?
I've been trying to look for a 3000 series cab myself. Have seen some listings but when I got to the interior pics, everyone so far I have said no thanks. Oddly every one I have seen...
Yes, but there is a point of how far they took this. They made everything unreliable.
I can start my 2013 Kubota inside the barn with the doors closed.
If I start my 67 Ford diesel in there with the doors open you can't see, LOL
That doesn't surprise me. I like all original too, but I posted pics of my 3000 diesel on an antique tractor site showing it in the dark with the blue lights under the hood making the engine glow blue and I got replies such as "you should be ashamed", "I'd be embarrassed" LOL
I normally have 13 to 13.5 feet of snowfall by now but this year I currently have patches of grass showing and I have plowed 3 times all winter. Not because I had to, just kept trying to make a base in case it ever decided to stay.
I'm going to predict to you all what is going to happen as far as on-road vehicles. In their attempt to save the environment by banning the sale of internal combustion LIGHT DUTY VEHICLES, every soccer mom on the block is going to have a new Superduty (because no one wants an ev) and Ford is...
Are you ingesting snow dust in your air intake to the filter while blowing? Black smoke could also be a sign of reduced air flow.
I helped a farmer out years ago. He had his big Deere utility tractor back to dealer and they did everything to it and the guy was still having issues with blowing...
Like I have mentioned before, our mine tried electric trucks. Great for first while underground, but as soon as moisture got in to them, or as soon as they had to park them on surface in the winter.....they are all gone and we are back to diesel Toyota's and Kubota RTV's. So that's not much of a...
I love my Kubota's, and they are supposed to be a premium brand, but it takes someone like LS to be smart enough to put entry lights when you open the cab door.
You would think you could get entry lights or at least door switches for the interior light with Kubota, especially with their large...
Missed the boat to buy them as investments. They are already way overpriced. Only good thing is, they will still hold the value you paid because they are only going to keep going up now. The pandemic opened the flood gates and we'll never return, because no matter the cost, people seem to still...
Just a little useless fact.......Purolator makes Ford Motorcraft filters and one other brand that escapes my mind at the moment.
I had confirmed this when my Ford dealer gave a Purolator because there was a shortage of Motorcraft branded. I called Ford Corporate and they told me that info.
I don't know if they are "designed" to wear out, but I had an old Case backhoe that used one of those to drive the hydraulic pump off the front of the engine and I remember changing them every couple years.
Or maybe you mean they are designed to wear before the splines on the shafts do.
You must have a crappy Kubota dealer. I wanted new tires for mine and my dealer told me not to buy tires. They got me tire and rim combo through Kubota Whole Goods for cheaper than just the tire. So I basically got new rims for free.
I wouldn't call an RTV with the front mount blower useless. MANY plow contractors here use them. I was going to get one for my RTV and did a lot of research, but two things stopped me from doing it. Here in Canada, the front hitch and blower is $24,000.
Second, the hitch system, according to...
I guess the price of used Ram Cummins trucks just went up more now that they are more desirable. LOL
Just like when VW got caught.....everybody wanted one and you couldn't find one anywhere.
Here's my local steel mill. Maybe they should start making industry follow the rules before they force me to buy an electric car and have a DPF muffler on my lawn mower.
I had to move out of town many years ago when we had our first child because I was sick of everything in my house and garage...
I put a 12 volt power port on my open station Kubota so I could plug in my heated visor on my snow mobile helmet. Visor stays dry, perfect vision while blowing.
The other thing is, all this banning the sales of new ICE's is for passenger vehicles. Does not apply to your 250/2500 350/3500 450's and 550's.
So all this law is gunna do is make it so we see a LOT more one ton grocery getters being sold, LOL
7.3 Godzilla's and turbo diesels for everyone!!
They can ban all they want. I already own everything I need for the rest of my life. And there is still gunna be diesel fuel because there is no way trucking and farming can transition yet. And being a registered farm and trucking company I will still be able to buy it even if they try and ban...
Think it all depends in what region you are in. Like here, I have absolutely NO Case IH, New Holland, Tym, Branson dealers anywhere, so those tractors are almost non-existant.
Then the other thing that happened is we lost a couple good family owned Massey dealers because a few years back AGCO...
You got it. Every new truck I have got after all this emissions stuff went into full force in 2007, has had an "emission surcharge" right on the line sheet from the engine manufacturer.
It will be us that will pay the fine. Won't be out of their revenue.
Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with the Massey 1526. As you say it was a simple, reliable cost effective tractor.
They just didn't get the sales of the other brands because they didn't have all the "fluff" everyone wants, and the early ones were not available with backhoe or mid PTO if I...
I've never drove a Cracker Box, but ran my share of 2 stroke Detroits.
6-71, 6V53, 6V92TTA, 8V53, 8V71, 8V92. Funny thing is most of those were in Ford's, LOL Except for a couple 6X6 Paystar's.
Two cycle Detroits were VERY popular in my area, right up into the 1990's.
I had never heard of that GMC twin six V12 gasser before until I saw one sell at a Mecum Gone Farming Auction. I would love to have heard one of those running.
And International had a good idea.....if it would have worked, LOL
So many people bought the original Maxxforce just to avoid DEF fluid.
There is a big trucking outfit here in my area that also does a lot of ice road trucking up in the Yukon and such and they run both International and...
Cat could also, but with them I think it was more of "we're not going to tarnish our name with this junk" LOL
I've said it before, oddly enough Cat seems to have it figured out for off road equipment. Our DPF/SCR equipped Cat's at the mine have very very few emissions issues. And even for what...
I agree. In my area right up into the 1980's there was nothing but Massey Ferguson's. Now all you see is those same old ones that are still working in the fields.
I still don't understand AGCO's marketing. Massey and orange Allis Chalmers were way more well known in North America than German Fendt.
Well if Cummins purposely made an emission defeating device, they did a piss poor job, other wise people wouldn't still be deleting them.
All these EPA suits are just money grabs and complete BS. They forced all these manufacturers to comply with unrealistic goals in unrealistic timelines, then...
That's what I am wondering Eddy, how are the Massey 4707 and Case IH Farmall 75's making out with just the diesel oxidation catalysts and no DPF or regens?
My friend just bought a Farmall 75A and he loves it, but still to new to see how it is going to be reliable.
Only place I see Masssey lacking is in the 26 h.p. compact class.
Their GC was always as good or better than the Kubota and Deere offerings, but they never had a competitive tractor in the 26 horse small frame size to compete with the Kubota B/Deere 2 R type tractors.
Their 1526 was always...
Ya, they said Yanmar in that model. I think the scut model has Yanmar too? At least I know the new New Holland and Case IH 25 scut's have Yanmar engines.
Yes, I like the backhoes for the newer cab models better that have their own seat.
The swivel for the seat on the B2620 has a pathetic little lock hook that I had to adjust and readjust and do some grinding for it to even catch and hold the seat down. Even use a zip tie to hold the lock hook on...
I just came across some you tube videos of the new restyled MT2 32 cab tractors. When are these supposed to be in dealer for sale?
Look like they have some nice features, Yanmar power and the hydro seems to be a whole lot quieter than the Kubota LX series.
Here's how a good dealer works: mine sold me a backhoe for my B that was new, unsold but had been sitting in crate for several years.
They gave a me a discount off price and said if I ever have any hoses fail, they will replace for free.
Meet Allis Chompers (named after my Allis Chalmers tractor)
Our new 4 week, 3 day old Pitbull/Mastiff.
Wanted a playmate for our one year old Boxer/Mastiff Millie.
They get along great. Millie has awesome motherly instincts. She's watching over her as if she is her mother.
Only one that isn't...
Yes, engine oil filters were same as Motorcraft for my truck....$18.00
Premium UDT was $153.00 and hydraulic filters are expensive. But the way I look at it, is I only do it once a year so it is what it is.
I remember paying $105 for UDT pre-covid gouging.
Still not as bad as what I paid for...
I would bet it would fit. But I'm not guaranteeing you. I was told even buy Kubota that the mid mount mower on my B2620 will not fit on a B2601 but it does.
And no, the seat swivel comes with the backhoe. And I wish my dealer NEVER put mine on!! Because you lose the seat suspension and it's a...
Went and got some filters and UDT at dealer yesterday. There was an LX2610 cab with nothing except a front mount snow blower on it. No other accessories or loader mount. $50,000 plus 13% tax. Unreal.
Two years ago I could have got a loaded Grand L 3560 with loader and rear snow blower for that.
Got a local loser here with a firewood business. Saw him once going down the Trans Canada Highway with his lifted single rear wheel pickup (with bald racing slicks) pulling his tandem dump trailer, loaded beyond belief with firewood, MISSING A REAR WHEEL axle chained up.
Meanwhile the Ministry...
What I find interesting is all the commercial tire dealers around here, when I'd had tires done on my class 8 trucks they ALL oil the threads when they re-install.
That is the institution where my pay cheques are direct deposited to! LOL
They are also very good at giving you tech advice. Many times I have emailed them with questions because I was unsure what parts I really needed and they were quick to reply with all the right answers.
I wish them...
I just got a quote today on a New Holland Boomer 40 HST cab with a loader and backhoe. $63,592 cash or $71,681 finance 0% for 72 with $9,000 down
EDITED....sorry meant $9000 down, not 19
I just looked at a listing by our local Kioti dealer for comparison. A new CK2620 cab (just tractor no loader) is $38,295.
Compare that to a new Kubota LX2610 cab at $39,694
So there within lies another problem. Dealers with cheaper tractors just matching their prices with the others.
That's how it is now in Canada with Kubota. I won't buy now just because I personally would feel absolutely stupid for having $47,000 invested in a little B series with only a loader and a mower. Or $90,000 for a Grand L.
I priced the front snow blower for my RTV-X1100C. Just the blower and...
I can tell you all with absolute certainty, when they will no longer sell me gas or diesel, I will go back to horse and buggy.
I'm lucky enough to be in an area I can still get everything I need to live within the distance I can travel by horse.
I kinda got off track now that I read your original question again. I would think the RTV would handle a plow better than one on the loader of a compact tractor? I feel as though a loader plow would try and steer you more than a plow on the RTV? And the RTV can travel at faster speed.
If those...
I use both. I have an open station tractor with a rear blower and an RTV-X1100C with a 6-1/2 foot Boss vee plow.
Like Yander said, the heated RTV cab is wonderful when it's minus 40 and the wind is howling. My tractors are all open station and I use a rear blower because I use my loader daily...
Check EVERY rad hose clamp point. My brand new RTV coolant level would never go down in the summer, but would always lose coolant in the winter, after use when it cooled down over night. Never a drip or puddle.
It took me many tries to finally find a hose connection that had some staining. I...
What you can always do if you are concerned, is look up MM in Steiner Tractor Parts and go through the parts listings for that model and see what all is still offered. Then google or FB some of the MM collector clubs.
I know with my Allis Chalmers there are some really good people in that...
I was listening to Shaun Haney on www.RealAgriculture.com and he was doing reports from the giant Agritechnica show in Germany. He said at the last show before covid cancelled it out last year, all the manufacturers were showing off their electric dreams, like John Deere had a bunch of fake...
Just to make you think more about buying an electric tractor. I just saw on our local news a guy bought a new Hyundai electric car and the battery failed at 170,000 KM, just outside the warranty and dealer quoted him $50,000 to replace battery.
I can get a studded, fully built 6 0 Powerstroke...
My guess is there will be zero of ANYTHING built today still operating in 40 years. LOL
And at that point my Allis Chalmers will be 104 years old and still going. LOL
I notice the 10 speed in my F150 when towing my tandem trailer with my Ford 3000 diesel in it occasionally make a popping noise when it upshifts. Almost sounds like a turbo wastegate popping off.
But it's got warranty, so let er blow, LOL
Ya, I'm not an engineer, so there must be a reason why no one has done it.
But hey, if the snowflakes can dream that electric everything will work, I can have my diesel electric dreams, LOL
I haven't been following the new Kubota's lately since I fell in love with my old iron, but am wondering......on the new LX cab series can you still get two factory rear remotes and still be able to mount a backhoe, or do you lose a remote to have the power beyond?
So for example, can you have...
My friend ordered a new F350 6.7 Powerstroke 10 speed during covid. Took over a year to take delivery of it. But he also had transmission troubles. I think he said the torque converter failed in it? But then he said they replaced the transmission too under warranty. But his was deleted and...
I recently read an article and Ford is now saying they are going to scale back their electric vehicle production because they are not going to meet goals, and now go back to focusing on hybrids. Now that makes more sense!
Which makes me think, why don't these tractor manufacturers focus on that...
Well said. I don't farm hundreds of acres, but my tractors get used every day on the property and like you say, for a property or estate or hobby farmer nothing beats simple reliable old iron. And your bank account will thank you.
I can tell you one thing, they will never have the return on investment my 1955 Allis Chalmers offers. It's the one thing in my yard that will start unassisted sitting outside in minus 40 while all my new stuff needs block heaters and glow plugs, LOL
I have contacted CNH corporate and dealers and none of them could tell me price, price of batteries, expected life of batteries (with only a 3 year warranty) or what I can expect for ROI.
So that pretty much says NO THANKS for me.
And I like how they love to brag about the lower cost of...
Even if it wasn't a scam....an L6060 with a loader and a backhoe for that price....especially from a repo company......I wouldn't walk away, I'd run, LOL
I have a new truck. Just need a small SUV for wife so I can get rid of the VW nazi mobile.
Wife loved our Explorer as much as I did. And I had a Bronco II years ago and they are awesome off road. Have an almost perfect 50/50 weight bias.
Depends on make and model. Do you have RFD-TV? If not sign up on Mecum Auction's site and look at all the sold prices in the Gone Farming auctions. I always use that for reference. The auctions are broadcast on RFD-TV though Mecum did not have the spring or fall tractor auctions this year for...
What are good States to look for rust free stuff and what are the best classifieds to look up? I'm looking for an old Bronco II with the 2800 V6 or a 1995 to 2006 Ford Explorer Sport with the 4.0 V6. If there even is any left in mint shape??
Everything up here in Ontario is rotten.
Got friends...
I looked at the Kubota dedicated TLB's a couple years ago. Problem is, here in Canada, the price they want for them I can buy an almost new full size construction backhoe that has a cab and air conditioning
Wife got that nazi mobile back today and sent me a pic of the invoice.
$2500 to replace the plastic thermostat housing! And they never even replaced the water pump! At least they did replace that stupid tiny belt that drives it.
$1000 in parts and 7.5 hours labor for a simple job that book...
Well, I see now why I buy Ford's again.
$2000 for water pump and labor and they still are charging me another $294 plus 13% tax on top of that for diagnostics because, well you know, they had to make sure the water pump that was pouring coolant out of it was bad.
Then he says "we notice there...
Well I don't know how a test can get more scientific than what I saw in that video, but it was enough to tell me to stay away from everything except Stabil.
Or just don't use anything at all.
My friend that drives tanker says all our fuels are treated right at the tank farm and you don't need...
Yep and to add to the benefits of going to a JD 2series or Kubota B/LX.....you don't have to remove the driveshaft to change a fan belt like the SCUTS.
And the drive over mm Mower deck on my Kubota couldn't be much easier. No wrestling at all. JD would be the same.
Me, I live in the snow belt...
Well how's this for ironic? Two days ago I get one of those spam emails to join a class action suit against VW for failing plastic water pumps all the way back to 2009/10 to present that crack I think it said?
Anyway, I ignored because: A. those class action suits are BS and the only person...
I've never had to worry about any of it before because I'm lucky enough to have really good gas and fuel in this area.
But not sure if that is going to change now. They have finally mandated ethanol up north here now. We've only had it at two stations until now. Now all but Shell is ethanol...
Yep, enough to tell me I am never going to buy a new over 26 h.p. tractor unless it has a delete kit available for it. Otherwise going to keep enjoying my pre-emissions stuff.
Here's the video I saw. So far everything I've seen on Fort Nine is pretty trustable. I get all my motorcycle accessories from them.
And Ryan is pretty entertaining, LOL
I read all the praise for Star-Tron on this forum and I have used it. But then I saw a you tube video on a motorcycle channel that tested gas stabilizers and it's results were one of the worst?
So I started using Marine Stabil again.
So by the sounds of it, you will not be farming? So for everything else you posted any brand that is the same size as my Kubota B2620 would do everything you need, or one with the factory cab. But stay 26 h.p. or under so you don't have to deal with constant emissions system problems.
Now if...
I wasn't sure if those Visio roofs they had back then were the culprit?
But if you look at all the old Boomers for sale in Marketbook or Tractorhouse and many of them have water stained headliners.
So I know by reading all the posts here in the past that the Boomer CVT's have been problematic. But what I'm wondering is, the 2012 Series II....are parts still available for them? Or are these generation CVT's obsolete now? Is this still the first gen or is this the Mexican made unit?
I found...
Good to hear. Too bad you had no need for it. But I know how it is. Lately I've been buying them already finished because I just never seem to have the time to work on all the projects I bought.
Take care.
Well, this style has good and bad points. The bad is they do shift the weight out a little further back.
But since all my implements are already set up with bushings for one, I decided to put one on the Ford too so I can use it to do some work too.
Looking forward to box blading with it.
Went an picked up another quick hitch today. This time for my 67 Ford 3000 diesel. I lucked out.
I got one back in 2014 for my Kubota B2620. Went with the B.E. (Braber Equipment) because it looked identical to the Land Pride (which all my implements are except for the chipper/shredder) but it...
I was just scrolling through the latest posts. Funny how many "regen problems" and "DPF problem" posts there are......in EVERY BRAND.
Kinda tells you something about this new junk don't it? Sad.
I would have to pay our 13% HST on top of the purchase price.
My friend just sent me pics of a new John Deere his school board just bought.
A 4052R cab with a loader, bucket and a set of forks. $95,000!
Ya, no thanks. LOL Good thing I maintain my current stuff because it will be staying with me...
I got those satisfaction survey's within the first year I bought my new vehicles (Kubota's included) then never ever got one again.
A lot of good that does eh? At least give it time for me to get them to a dealer for an oil change, LOL
Yes, but I'd still take a hit on exchange on my Canadian dollar. Then get hit with our tax at the border.
Oddly though my dealer sends a LOT of tractors into the USA. I know your dollar is worth more, but does it make up for prices like that?
Or am I missing something?
I get depressed every time I see all your American prices! LOL
In my land of where a Kubota Grand L6060 with a loader or a JD 4 R with NO loader are approaching $90,000
And here is a complaint I have had since my kids went to school.....instead of all the stupid stuff they teach kids in school, why do they not teach them from an early age about banking, investments, mortgages, etc???
My schooling never had anything like that, nor did my parents teach me...
Are you on facebook nickfank? I hate that crap, but I did finally join just to get on the antique tractor groups and I am on Classic Ford Tractors.
You should list it there. I see quite a few people there have that model.
I hope it gets saved.
If you want a louder horn, go to a big truck dealer and get a Grote electric horn.
I had to replace the electric horn in my dump truck and then I used same one to put on my Kubota. Was only 20 bucks Canadian and is LOUD.
Oh lighten up, LOL It's nothing more offensive than saying the new Kubota already has problems. I'm only ribbing you.
I got nothing against you. You're a fellow Ford tractor owner!
This is big rig related....but what makes me laugh is every year when they have the new model/engine announcements and they say "these new engines are so smart they can diagnose themselves and tell the technicians what they need to do", then you spend weeks in the shop while they stab all your...
I wish my memory wasn't so bad. It was either the radio in my Paystar or the Western Star that was like that.....would only scan, then I found some button I pushed or something I did and then I could manually tune it.
It was also something not shown in the book....I just happened to luck out...
Since this is going right off the rails again, LOL, here's what I'll say to your question as you just defined it.
If you found a tractor you like, and you have a good dealer for that tractor, go ahead and buy it. The emissions system will likely work. Just be aware that at some point years down...
They are calling for snow here tomorrow. They got it 2 hours north of here already. It likely won't stay yet but there is a cold front moving through and it has been cold and windy last two days. And the two before that I had the central air conditioning on in the house because it was so hot...
