Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

Thanks, been beating on the ring with every little cold chisel, nail set etc to get it to move with zero luck. Really eating up the groove. The space to get into this thing is maybe an 1/8". I really think this is the worst design there is. I have sprayed it down several times over the last few...

Log Splitter hydraulic ram fitting broke off.

I am trying to remove the end cap on this 5"cylinder. It has a collapsible internal ring with about a 1/2" gap to allow this to happen, problem is, it simply will not release from the cylinder and with no holes like a snap ring would have, it is nearly impossible to get a bite on it. Plenty of...

Pretty sure it is all in the hydraulic control valve. Just reducing line size still won't change pressure directly.

That is a good point about going to a local hydraulics shop. We have a place that basically builds hoses immediately. They are expensive but they are as close to the original configuration as possible. They check everything from the angle the fittings are to the exact length. All of the pieces...

Good to have a link to that website. The ORB you mention would be better in most situations. In my case the valve is attached directly to the hydraulic cylinder via NPT.

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Installed the Prince flow restrictor on the dump line. Works perfect, super easy to install and an inexpensive solution to FBS. Thanks a ton Stan. If I am not mistaken, Kubota approaches it differently. I think they actually send fluid slightly pressurized to the opposite cylinder to eliminate this.

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Without a doubt I am doing this. It drives me nuts. On the other hand, I discovered something pretty cool on the 3510 this morning. When mowing with my flail mower (first time with this tractor) I realized in PTO auto mode it will turn the PTO off when you raise the 3 pt hitch past a certain...

    Kioti ck3510 loader issue

Thanks for enlightening us Stan. I have a question perhaps you can do some more enlightening on. I would think the flow control would be in the other direction of the picture you posted, full flow to curl, flow control to dump but the picture seems to suggest the opposite.

    Linked Pedal Always On? (Solved)

I am curious, my linked pedal is great in forward but barely revs up in reverse. How about yours? I want full throttle (or close to it) in reverse especially when using the box scraper or back dragging with the loader. Another question, do the rear lights on yours stay on always when running?

    Operating the backhoe

None of my Kubota's did it! The Low Medium High selector only, I said nothing about the brakes. With the brakes locked, even low can't overpower the brakes. You still have to push the hydrostat pedal on top of that. Sounds like a good set up for you though.

I suspect prices have gone up since this was posted. I have an order for a Kioti CK3510SE, quote is $24K, loader QA, 66" bucket, and of course the CK3510SE. Yanmar has really stepped it up. I am looking at Kioti primarily because for out the door tax included with 2 remotes, 66" bucket, R4's etc for a CK3510SE I am out $24,000. You won't deadhead the pump, just sitting there it is in bypass, when you pull the lever it will pressurize the line in a brief moment and then go back to bypass.
