Where is the flow control valve installed? That is the biggest difference between my previous Kubota's (4 in total) and their regenerative circuit and the Kioti.

Well thank you for that. I never thought about looking in the manual for that.

Make sure to check the torque on the loader bolts, 7 on each side. They are M14-9. I checked mine after seeing the split lock washer on two of them loose. Retorqued all 14 to 125 ft. lbs. All were a little to a lot loose. I have 22 hours on my new Kioti 3510 SE and all of it is with the loader...

I am curious, my linked pedal is great in forward but barely revs up in reverse. How about yours? I want full throttle (or close to it) in reverse especially when using the box scraper or back dragging with the loader. Another question, do the rear lights on yours stay on always when running?

None of my Kubota's did it! The Low Medium High selector only, I said nothing about the brakes. With the brakes locked, even low can't overpower the brakes. You still have to push the hydrostat pedal on top of that. Sounds like a good set up for you though.

On my Kubota it just locks even though the only time I ever used it is to see what the heck it was for and then wonder why I would ever use it. When I leave the tractor out for someone to use with the key in it, I either engage the PTO so it cannot start, push the cruise control lever forward...

So what length did you end up getting? Definitely a bonus to go extra on the extend length if that is an option. A top hydraulic link is priceless for a box scraper and a great asset for mowing.

Make sure to measure your current top link retracted/extended lengths. My L3940 takes the 12". Many cylinders also have 2 or 2 1/2" pistons to choose from.

I have never used a top link with a check valve and have never had a need either. If I needed something in a very rigid and locked position I suppose that it would be beneficial but have never had that kind of implement on the back. Mowers, box blade, Harley rake etc get continual adjust...

I like to fill the rear tires to just over the top of the rim to keep the steel submerged and not exposed to air and still allow room for the compression need to keep the tire from being potentially damaged.

Is the sleeve removable? Looks like it could be pushed out with perhaps a press or vise using a deep socket. I have not seen the implement side with a sleeve on any of my tractors unless I added it.

Thanks, I spray white lithium grease on most things that do not have grease fittings. I have been a huge advocate for Kubota so this transition should I follow through will be BIG for me.

My 3940 has it and oil comes out. Hydraulic oil so the seal on the transmission most likely needs replacing.

In all the years of using tractors, I have never, ever worn out wet brakes. And yes, I have left the brake on at times as well. They can be set so strong that it usually does not take long to realize that something is wrong especially with HST. Welcome to the club.

The 454D I had was a 3 cylinder diesel and it had so much power I could run a 84" mower on the high PTO (1000 RPM I think) at just above idle and it breezed through everything but the tallest weeds. Mower was a 540 and thus the reason for the slow engine speed.
