Like others have said, look on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace for good used forks. I found mine for $250 and they were heavy duty overkill for my 55 horse tractor.

Echo, the carburetor’s are not inside the motor like many and are easy to service. Had a repair man tell me he works on a lot of blowers but not many echo’s.

Jay, what year is your tractor? If mine is in regen when I’m operating and the light isn’t on, I’ve never noticed. But your probably right that’s it’s happening and I just didn’t know at the time.

When my dash light comes on you have to manual regen according to the information sticker. Ours are apparently different stickers.

The instruction sticker on my tractor says to idle down then hit the regen switch. Mine apparently is a different system than yours. Maybe because of motor size a different tier?

Acts like a loss of power, not much but I do notice. Dash light comes on to regen then you idle down hit the regen switch and it revs up and runs for 30-40 minutes and goes back to idle.

Back in 2013 I bought a 2013 Polaris Ranger Crew 800 full size for less than 10K. I use it to plow snow and work around one of my farms. I don’t need a 35k machine to work in and out of, mine will last me another 10 years with proper maintenance.

The way I have always shopped and bought big ticket items wether they have been cars, tractors etc. is to look at their lot inventory. Are they low or have an abundance? Pretty good indicator of quality if everyone wants one. That’s why I drive Toyota and operate Kioti.

I’ve owned tractors where the fuel tank was on top, to much of a pain to fuel without spilling some on or around the motor. Unless you’re driving over 3 ft stumps the chances are slim to none you will damage the fuel tank. I can fuel mine with minimal effort and a five gallon can when not close...

Yes, I know it’s automatic, was curious when others are going into regen hour wise. Mines 70ish yours is 28, depending on how you operate I suppose.

After looking at my flail on my tractor, it’s only at a small angle in front lifted up. Maybe 1-2 inches. What you would want is to keep your PTO shaft as level and straight as possible. Thanks for all the suggestions and tips.

Keep at it, took me looking for about a year. I had a New Holland 30 hp but was looking for bigger. Guy who had the one I bought was a fireman who started a business on the side using the tractor but it rained all spring and he got behind in payments.

I agree, open back you can operate it easily when you can see it. Use bungee cords for your hoses to keep them protected.

Yea, we’re taking about two different things here. Wash boards roads don’t allow water run off, water bars are cut specially on a gravel road to disperse water to the sides.

You can use a box blade to create a small ditch using a top and tilt kit. I’m no expert but recently installed a top and tilt on my tractor and use my box blade to keep the small side ditches clean on my driveway.

If you are having drainage issues install a few water bars to divert the runoff. I have a drive uphill, gravel and a half mile long. It would wash out every time we had a hard rain, I cut some water bars problem went away. We just had 5 inches of rain a couple of weeks ago and very minimal damage.

Turn your machine off, then turn key on but don’t start. Relieve pressure on your front remotes by pressing your buttons. Restart tractor and try remotes.

Very rocky where I’m at in southern Indiana. I have boulders lining my road as big as cars. Out in the woods there is one as big as a small house I put a ladder on to climb and deer hunt off of.

I’ve dug out some boulders that look like rocks on the surface but ended up being as big as a 55 gallon drum. Dug out 2 of those so far. Stump bucket to pry under then use my grapple to move them.

I have forks and a grapple. I prefer the grapple for firewood. Don’t forget about back ballast when lifting big loads. My tires are filled and I put my 900 pound flail mower on when lifting logs or boulders.
