My NX4510 has 2 rear remotes. Neither has the float function. Can I run a backhoe from these remotes that don't have float function?

There is usually a valve just below the seat that is used for adjusting the rate of descent for the 3 point. If you close that valve all the way, the 3 point will not go down. Could that be from that valve??

My NX will start to blow warm air in cab before the temp gauge moves. My little diesel takes some time for the gauge to reach operation temp. My tractor had 9 hours on delivery. Next time you take it out, compare hour meter to a watch.

I was quite surprised that despite my tie rod boots being in good shape, there was a lot of play in the tie rod under the boot. At least 3/8"! Waiting for the new tie rods. They must be under a lot of stress with heavy loader work. Hope the new ones last longer than 900 hours.

very nice. Check as many fasteners as you can. People warned about leveling rod coming loose. I didn't check and it folded up like a cheap tent. Yes, the cab is very roomy!! You will definitely enjoy being out of the elements! Have fun.:)

I would definitely get the 6'. I run a 7' farm king rough cut on my NX4510 with 34 pto hp without any issues. Like others have said, you can always just cut 5' at a time if thick, or go slower. I really like the extra width when I am mowing larger areas.

I run a 7' rough cut with my 45 hp Kioti. Can cut pretty thick grass - 4' tall without much problem. The hydrostat is nice as I can adjust the speed on the fly. 90hp should easily run a 10'.

Have a 45hp Kioti. Did the Pat's quick hitch thing. They work ok. Quick hitch is the way to go in my opinion. Haven't had any problems. Did buy some CAT2 implements that I had to modify slightly. Quick hitch with a hydraulic top link. You will never look back.

Had one cylinder leaking on my 2016 NX4510. Was still on warranty. Dealer claimed there was no rebuild kit available from dealer. They just replaced with a new cylinder ($800 bucks!!) Can't imagine it couldn't be rebuilt.

Yes, I had a turbo oil leak and a bad injector. When that happened, I was getting a regen every 2 hours or so. New injector, new turbo and all has been good.

I have a manual for the NX, and don't have a P008 code in it. There's a P0088 and P0089 in there referring to fuel rail overpressure. There is a thread 'understanding error 008' on this site. And my 2016 NX4510 cab regens approx every 30 hours.

Hydraulic top link with quick hitch. You will never look back. Makes hooking up to anything very easy. Never have to get off the seat.

Oil pan heat pad. Will heat the entire engine. Easy to install. Amazon sells a bunch of different sizes. Look at your oil pan and figure out where you can attach one and what size would fit.

Like Jim said, pull off turbo tube to see if there is oil in there. My NX was generally regening every 30 hours give or take. It erroded to 1 to 2 hours between regens. Long story short, 1 bad injector and a blown turbo seal. Back to 25 to 30 hour regens. Regens last about 20 minutes.

Yes, they replaced one injector and put in a new turbo. Since then averaging 30 hours between regens. Would like to see the interval between regens a little higher, but they don't really bother me at all.

Have tilled quite a few virgin acres with a KK 60" tiller. It does take a few passes. I would go after a rain when the ground was softer. Go slow. After 3 passes, you should have more progress than what the photo shows. Go slow and be patient if you don't have access to a plow.

I was afraid of DPF when I was shopping in 2018. After 650 hours, DPF isn't the scary monster I thought it was. You are severely limiting your search. Like many have said, now is not a great time to purchase.

Had a B7800 with front mount blower. Would throw relatively dry snow maybe 30 feet out and 15 feet high. Much more effective than pushing or moving with bucket. Wet snow, maybe 20 feet out and 10 feet high. Don't have blower on NX4510 and really miss it.

Yea, once you get the cap off, clean and lube everything, you should be good to go. I bought my 2016 new in 2018. Had the float problem in 2020. Should have been lubed much better in my opinion.

Were you able to get cover off? Mine did have some rust since there was virtually no lube. Maybe pull back on joystick and try remove cover? My guess is it needs to be cleaned and lubed. I did struggle getting that cover off. I think there is a groove in the cap that the balls have to move...

Once I removed the 2 bolts, I remember having to have the joystick in a certain position for it to come off. Can't remember exactly what it was. I just played with it until it slid off. There was virtually no lube in it. I took both off, filled with lithium grease and it worked like a charm...

Have a 2002 1500HD with the 6.0. Tow a 10k 5th wheel. While it works pretty hard on some hills in the mountains, it has always got me from A to B. No complaints.

Here in Alberta Canada, son works at Canadian tire. No T4 for some time. Still have a little T6. Looks like a universal problem.

I try to stay at least one oil change ahead of the game. Always oil and filters for next one. Not sure why the habit, but may be wise in the next year or two to stay ahead. We don't realize how fragile our supply chain is. Hope it all gets caught up soon.

Nice tractor. I think you will be very happy with a cab. Check all lug nuts as well as all the bolts on leveling rod. Many have come loose in first few hours and rod gets all bent up. As well, loader mounting bolts. Enjoy.

I think you will have to jump the safety switch on the seat. I bypassed mine and it allows the pto to operate with no one in cab.

Yes, same happened on my NX4510. Pretty common problem with all the filters on first change. Original filters must have been installed dry. Hopefully you hydraulic and HST filters come off easier.
