    Status of Everything Attachments

There was nothing ‘custom’ about EA products and they had been doing it as far as I can remember which is going in more than a decade. Sure, running into production delays and having some back orders from tome to time is part of running a successful business but to have your business model...

    Status of Everything Attachments

I’ve done my fair share of building in NC and generally the only way a project passes all the inspections leading up to and then failing a CO which cannot be remedied involve a lack of funds to finish. Now divvying up blame from there is getting pretty far out in the weeds of conjecture, but...

    Status of Everything Attachments

That’s kind my point though. I don’t think prepayment was a ‘policy’ as much as the means to keep the business running that perpetuated for far too long. I may be out of the loop somewhat on the story, or maybe everyone is, but didn’t the contractor building the factory put liens on EA for...

I’m willing to bet the farm that they wouldn’t have stayed open as long as they did without charging 100% upfront on orders with TBD production and shipping time frames. Unintended or not, Perpetually running a business model on paid in full back orders smells too much like a a pyramid scheme...

Considering selling compact tractor for toolcat

I am/was in a fairly similar position. Sold a tractor to get a UTV, then realized the UTV would not do the work I needed it to do, and am now searching for a Toolcat. Mine will be for private use on my property up in the mountains where having one tool serve as many functions as possible is the...

What do you consider 'high' hours on Toolcats and what to look for on higher hour machines

Someone please correct me if i’m wrong but i believe it was the early machines (through 2006) with the live axles that had the drive motor issue and was corrected on 2007 models with the new independent suspension??? I know at the very least the part numbers on the drove motors changed at that...

What do you consider 'high' hours on Toolcats and what to look for on higher hour machines

So I finally found a machine.....albeit on the opposite end of the spectrum with only 800 hours. From what I've read most if not all early Toolcats experienced the drive motor issue and most machines should've experienced the failure and/or had the drive motors repaired by now. The super low...

Traction: locking diff vs limited slip vs traction control

Thanks for that pic. Turned out the 2012 did not have traction control. The switch on the 2012 for what I had thought was the traction control as found in the 2014+ F series, was actually the strobe light function as found in the earlier machines you have pictured.

What do you consider 'high' hours on Toolcats and what to look for on higher hour machines

Hi all, wondering what everybody considers 'high/low/average' hours on Toolcats. I am considering a 2012 machine with 2600 hours. I wouldn't consider that high hours but was hoping to try to stay under 2000 hours which I would equate to more of a low machine. With the myriad of uses and work...

Traction: locking diff vs limited slip vs traction control

So I just found a 2012 Toolcat that supposedly has the traction control option. I've come across varying opinions as to whether or not only the 2014+ G series machines had a traction control system. Would a 2012 F series have the same traction control system as the G series? I though I had...

    Turbo vs Non-turbo

    Turbo vs Non-turbo

    Turbo vs Non-turbo

Hi all, Still searching for a used Toolcat. I think i’ve zeroed in on the 2006 model because of the limited slip differential and the updated boom with increased curling ability. From what I can gather the 2004-2006 models had the option of turbo vs non-turbo engines. Anybody have any buying...

Traction: locking diff vs limited slip vs traction control

Selling my PT1430 and attachments, last deutz diesel 1430 sold by Power Trac

It definitely wasn’t quiet, but was actually noticeably quieter than the JD 3025 it replaced. The 3025 was probably the loudest machine i’ve owned through. All my diesel compact tractors have always been very loud compared to my excavators, despite all having same/similar engines to the...

    425 60" mower motor

I have a 1430 and am contemplating making a 3 pt mower work for it as opposed to spending $4000 on commercial mower which would see rather infrequent use. Would this motor work on a 60” deck for a 1430 or is the HP number going throw wrench in the math equation?

Got a 1430, looking for pallet fork recommendations

You’re right. Looking at the price sheet for the 425 it looks like it has same the 800# rating for the forks as its lift capacity. The fact that they have what appear to be 4000# rated tines for their forks for the 1430 is telling me that the 2000# tines are probably too small for the 1430...

That’s odd that they have those forks listed as 1200#. Those are much beefier than the 2000# forks on my bx and the same size as the Titan forks on my JD 3025 which are rated at 4000#.
