What do you mean by a "baffle plate"? Perhaps a reinforcing plate at those weak points. These cracks are not on the door but on the front faceplate just outside of the angle iron that the door seals against.

It's not a hand held sharpener, it's a bench mount and it has an adjustable depth control with a stop on it. So I can accurately set the raker height and get them all the same. Should be a big improvement over the way I have been doing it.

You bet. I also don't like those filing gauges for doing the rakers. I like my rakers filed a little more. Gives the chain more bite and the sawing goes faster.

I also use a small flat file but still don't like that job. It seems that the file tends to skate and the rakers vibrate. Maybe I just need to get better files.

Woke up to about 6" of heavy wet snow on the ground and then the rain started. I was surprised that the inverted blower blew that wet snow pretty well. Not as far as usual but far enough and never had one clog during the 2 mile trip up and down the driveway.

You don't have to weld anything if you don't want to. Just cut some pieces of pipe with the right size hole and feed the bolt through the pipe when you mount the side plates. It's just easier to have the piece of pipe and bolt welded onto the plate.

Finally got a response from Starlink about the reduced speed, at 4 PM. As noted earlier by BigBlue1, they are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible but if I completely loose service to notify them because that would be a different issue.
