    750' Concrete Driveway Demo/Refinish Help

Crush it and use it for paver base. I’ve seen it done on road jobs with a special machine. Basically 6 or 8 large steel weights that raise up and drop on the concrete to turn it into rubble. Then pave over it. https://www.antigoconstruction.com/rubblization/2-lane-highways

Help me judge an aluminum weld

If that is done on an inverter welder there needs to be more hf cleaning applied to get rid of the contamination.

    Deer Hunting and deer hunters

Michigan also requires written permission. CO’s are very lax about this unless there is a complaint. I’ve only been stopped by a CO one time while hunting private property and that’s because the CO lived just down the road. I was going out in the morning and he was going to work. All he really...

4,200# of slate, one 75 year old guy

I did about 1000 sq ft a few years back. Also did alder trim and doors. That slate is a pain to work with but the results are worth it.

    Dixon Ultra 52 ZTR

Husqvarna bought Dixon so I'd say any Husky dealer should be able to get them. I need a set for my ultra 61, but I really haven't looked too hard though. I can't decide if I want to get the gator blades or not. Big price difference and I'm not sure it's worth it. I did see mine had some numbers...

    Small Fishing Boats.... whatcha got?

I am picking up a new SeaArk 1652 sevi-V this week. It will be my duck boat in the fall and I'll fish out of it the summer. I looked around a lot on CL but never really found a nice wide one. I wanted something really stable for hunting so the wider the better. I also got a 35hp Gator Tail...

Ok, what do you guys think of this one, is he overloaded or not? I l also like how he used some vertical logs against the sides so he could stack the wood a little higher. We also drove right by a cop looking for speeders in a 25 mph zone going out of town. The cop didn't seem to care and let...

    Underlayment for Metal Roof

We put an aluminum shingle roof on our cottage back in August. They definitely don't give that stuff away but it is guaranteed forever and will not rust like most of the steel roofs. The steel has good warranties for corrosion, don't get me wrong, but they do allow rust within 1" of a cut. For...

Here is one for you guys. 12 round bales squeezed onto a trailer without one strap. It also looks like the truck is squatted down more than it should. I got stuck behind this guy for about a 1/4 mile as they were creeping along at about 15 mph.

Forks  Has anyone ever flipped their forks?

I hired a rigging company to set a new production line last week. Every time I watch these guys work I learn another trick. This time they had to pick an electrical panel from the top using slings and shackles. The 10,000 lb fork truck they had didn't go high enough to do it. They lowered the...
