Here's Cuddle Cat and Skunkface, so named because when she was a kitten would climb up on my chest to be cuddled, and for the stripe between her eyes. Taken a couple years ago; Skunk disappeared for about a week and a half and just returned yesterday afternoon to much love.
And this is Squeaker, their little brother, on his 2nd birthday this past April. He's named that because he can't meow, but squeaks pretty good when excited.
They are from a feral that took up residence on the back porch a few winters ago and got to where she'd come inside to eat. I rescued the kittens from a neighbor's back yard woodpile and moved everyone inside and helped raised them from two weeks old, with the grudging approval of mamma cat, who eventually went away.
