The WICKED Root & Debris GRAPPLE!!!!!!!

Good thought. I'm all about the orange, but this time I am thinking something completely different so it doesn't blend in. Final color TBD. Painted pics will follow. Here are a couple recent, new and not quite new.

    New hydraulics

This is what they have done so far. Does this look like a quality standard retrofit?

    New hydraulics

Being a novice with hydraulics, and while my Kubota is at the dealer, I asked for a set of rear and front hydraulics to be installed. It's a 10 year old L4330 with a woods FEL on it. What should I expect them to do. This tractor is at a satellite locatation, and I am doing this over the phone...

Hydraulics (What can you do with them?)

I am thinking about adding additional lines to the two in font, as well as some in the rear. The tractor is an L4330 and is ten years old. It runs great. I was wondering what kind of attachments are out there that this size tractor could work with? It does have a skid steer type FEL quick...

Rotary Cutter  Taylor-Way Field General bush hog hook up

This is my friends bush hog and the hook up from the dealer seems overly complex, and not very functional. have looked on line for a matching manual but have not found one. I am attaching a couple of pictures. Any recommendations?

What type of metal to add for the brush guard?

I used a non- flattened expanded metal. It's very heavy and open, but I installed it on both sides of the guard and slightly staggered. I wanted it really strong, so I wouldn't have to replace later. It's called 3lb grating. It's a 1/4" thick steel plate prior to expanding. The openings are...

    Tires Rear Wheel Spacing

I can really see it on yours FTH-05. I'm using the outside edge of the tail lights as a guide, and the center of your tires are further out by maybe 5". Mine, although I don't have a good pic of it right now looks about centered with the outside edge of the light. That's good news for me.

What have you Missed / Hit with your tractor?

I am tired of replacing lights and grills due to frequent mishaps. I hope this expanded metal will reduce the damage, cause I know I won't stop running into stuff.

    Ballast Type of fluid used.

This is the color of the fluid in my tires. A grayish white. Had a slight chemical smell. I poured some of it on some uncoated steel a few minutes ago, but not sure how long it will take to "flash rust". Any thoughts?

    Ballast  Type of fluid used.

Is there an easy way to tell what kind of fluid is in the rear tires? i have a Kubota L4330 GST that came from the dealer in 2006 with the tires fluid filled. C

What have you Missed / Hit with your tractor?

I was using the FEL to compact some construction trash in a roll off container. I caught the hydraulic line protective cover on the side of the container. It tore the bracket off and some of the lines as well.

    Tires  Rear Wheel Spacing

Are there any drawbacks to leaving your rear wheels in the wide space set up, rather than the standard narrow? I have a L4330 4WD with R4 tires. My place is about 60% even grade, and 40% medium to steep grade.

What have you Missed / Hit with your tractor?

I was backing up the bush hog into a damp area. I didn't realize that the BH was on top of a log half buried in the ground. Once the front passed over, the tractor dropped down in a wet spring, wedging the log between the BH and the rear of the tractor. 4 wheel drive and an FEL didn't free the...

    Reclaiming Field Perimeters 101

Mostly Poplar, Oak, Locust (thorns), and other hardwoods. Some scrub pines, but they bend easy under the bush hog. Anything over the ROPS I am not concerned about.

    Reclaiming Field Perimeters 101

I am newer on the tractor, and just starting to reclaim the perimeter of several fields. I have no problem bush hogging the small trees that have grown over a few years, but how do I deal with the hundreds of tree branches that want to decapitate me, or stab me in the back? Is it just a matter...
