The specs I read on theTC29DA show the alternator rated at 40amps. If you were parked with the engine at idle speed the alternator was probably not putting out enough amps to power the lights on high beam along with 4 ways flashing and overloaded the circuit. Just a guess.

I always change filter and oil at same time. Usually every 5K like you. No sense leaving a dirty filter in place with clean oil. Just my opinion.

I guess I haven't kept up on tractor prices. I'd expect it to have a cab for that price.

The black enclosed trailer roof caved in 6 years ago. I rebuilt and braced the roof with stronger metal. The camper had the roof removed by the camper dealer. I had them double up on all cross bracing. The MH has stock roof. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they hold up.

There are videos on YT on how electric trailer brakes work which will show you what is inside and how the magnet pulls an arm to engage the brakes. In your high humid environment its highly possible the arm may have rusted in the on position applying the shoe to the drum.

Try removing the wheel, then tap on the drum with a hammer. Sounds like the pivot arm with the magnet that swings has rusted in braked position. Also check your breakaway switch to make sure the pin hasn't pulled out. Also disconnect the trailer brake battery.

I had a similar problem with my LS. Had to remove the cover over the parking brake and bend the bracket holding the safety switch to make a better connection. Yours may be similar.

Is there a reason why you can't power the new pump off the same seven terminal plug? Just get the plug end and wire it to the new sprayer. Or, add wire and battery clips as mentioned temporarily.

I ran two lines from a rear remote to the front to operate the power angle of my quick attach snow plow. I bought the ready made hoses and couplers from a local tractor supply store. Just fished them under the tractor to the front and zip tied in place where they won't get damaged.

Red fuel is off road fuel. It is perfectly safe to use in diesel tractors but not for highway use. Red diesel is also used in home heating. That fuel pump should be marked for off road or home heating oil. If that pump is located where trucks fuel up they may be in violation.

Just do a search for the part number and see who sells it in your area. Most places here in US will ship to Canada.

How did you test the glow plugs? Did you remove the buss bar connecting them together then check each plug individually? If the glow plug light works normal when buss bar is disconnected but not when hooked up it seems to me you have a plug that is shorted to ground.

Is it possible your fuel is gelling? Temps have been pretty low lately.

My tractor is in a semi heated garage (about 40-45 deg.F). I too use PS year round. Adding some to your tank before taking it out for a couple hours I think the vibration of the tractor will mix it just fine. At -15 F I would use it.

Welcome to TBN..... Not familiar with your tractor but a similar thing happened to me on an HST tractor I had. While getting on the tractor I accidentally bumped the range selector into neutral and it wouldn't move.

Not sure of your location and whether ambient temps may be too cold causing fuel gelling. That is one reason that would for your symptoms.

I think manufacturers de-rate those trailers to avoid braking requirements. Most states require brakes on trailers over 3000#.

I think you answered your own question. If you can bog down a 44HP tractor you would certainly bog down a 25HP UTV. The problem is IMO any tractor, UTV, RTV Etc. with a blower can be bogged down. Speed and snow density makes the difference.

Your Cub is like my Craftsman 28HP rider, key switch has the PTO in reverse position. I had an older Cub without the reverse cut off safety.

Again, I don't have a 425 so don't know if the PTO switch stays in that position once activated or if you have to lift it each time you reverse. I believe that since its a safety feature that once you go forward the switch goes back down. PITA but that's how Mfgs. build stuff. They incorporated...

My keyswitch has 4 positions. Off-ON2-ON1-Start. After starting the key goes to ON1 automatically. In that position the PTO shuts off in reverse. If I put it in ON2 the PTO stays running in reverse. I only mow with mine and I want my mower running fwd and reverse.

I used Anderson power connector plugs (A bit overkill but it was all I had at the time). Mounted one on tractor direct to battery and other on pump wiring and simply plug in when I need to fill up. You could do the same on your tractor and ATV.

How many amps did the tech up the fuse to. Maybe the wiring was not capable of handling the extra amps of the higher current fuse and has burned up.

In the middle, between the 2 cylinders is a safety lock. It must be released to let it come down. The directions should show you how to release the safety lock. You may have to raise it a bit more to release the latch.

Welcome to TBN........... Have you checked the control valve below your seat? Usually there is a knob the controls how fast the 3 pt will drop. If the knob is fully clockwise the valve is closed and won't let the 3pt. go down.
