A homeowner has asked me to cut some big high dead branches off two pine trees. Most of the cutting would be done with a manual pole saw, I estimate about four days work. The city he lives in will pick up the branches that are cut off. What is a fair price for this kind of work?

How hot did it get today where you are. It got up to 72 here!

When I travel aorund this area and see all the dead trees lying on the ground. They are a fire hazard during the hot dry summer months. What if someone could built an electricity generating plant that could burn these trees for fuel?

The gauge in my truck has always shown 14 volts, for a few weeks now it has gone down to 13 and up to 15 several times. Does this indicate a problem with the alternator or voltage regulator?

Yesterday I installed a set of Airlift LoadLifter 5000 on my 2007 Tundra. The installation was not too bad, the hardest part was cutting off the bump stops. Also it would be much easier on a lift then with a floor jack and jack stands.

Today about 3:00 pm when I was cutting the grass a coyote ran by about 50 feet from me. There are lots of coyotes in the woods around us. This is the first time I have seen one out in the open in the bright sun. Attatched is a picture that looks like the one I saw.

Are there any good 3/8" corded drills that have a key chuck. Seems like they all are keyless now. It seems to me that with a key you can tighten the chuck more.

This is the idea I stole from kebo. It's finished there are two plates they weigh sixty pounds each. The extra weight will help with dirt work and for ballast.

kebo's modifications to his BB were really good, so I am copying what he did. Today I got two pieces of one inch thick steel plate, I primed them and painted them with rustoleum. They just meed to be bolted to the BB. More pictures to come.

The dealer that I bought my tractor from has a TONUTTI 72" rear finish mower for $1,595.00. Any opinions on this mower and the price?

When I got my tractor I bought a Blitz fuel can with the trigger. It leaks and when I asked the man at TSC about these, he said all the new type leak. This must be a better idea. Cuts down on vapors but they leak.

Ran the bush hog ( mdern ag ) 5' cutter for a short time. The shear pin broke. The top of the bolt ( pin ) says 307A and JG. IS this a common part and how hard is it to change?

Do you have to use the clutch on a 3016 to shift the shuttle?

How important are rear remotes? Can the side remotes for the FEL be used as a front remote?

Does the 2816 ( Mitsubishi engine ) have glow plugs? Is it a direct injection diesel?

Will a bush hog work as a finish mower? Some people have told me they have a rough cut mower that does a good job as a finish mower.

There is a big white oak tree on my property . The base is almost 10 feet across. The tree is on a hill which is eroding. It is in danger of falling over and doing a lot of damage. How can I tell if this tree is veneer quality and what could it be worth?
