Help! SSQA to a JDQA Grapple?

Most JDQA stuff is pretty flimsy, because the compact line maxes out at about 2500. SSQA can go about triple that. I have both in my fleet, and there really isn't any good reason to share attachments due to the capacity disparity. However, I did weld hooks and pins onto a flimsy SS trailer hitch...

    Recommendation flail mower

I have an 80" blue diamond hyd offset with forged hammers. 1" saplings are the practical limit for taking down and shredding. I would think that an HD rotary cutter would work better on 3" trunks.

    V-plow on Tractor Hydraulics (snow)

I believe that it is snow wolf who uses sequencing valves to run wing, angle, and other wing on one circuit for their loader plows. Something like that would work for a Vee Plow.

How to get a good deal on a 1-series?

Yeah, no auto connect deck and no position control three point make the cheaper sub compacts cheaper. The Deere plastic body panels are good, they can't rust, and rattle less than metal. I've had my 'R for just short of 10 years. It was bought from the dealer in my Zip Code, with a couple of...

    10W-30 HYD replacement or substitute

Found the specs for Hydrau. I have Hy-Gard low viscosity here, but that is like a 10 weight oil. My local dealer did not have any Hydrau in stock. I have decided that AW 68 should work ok for this application. I have the AW 32 Lube King in my Yale lift truck, and get good performance out of it.

Has anyone converted a full size backhoe to a quick attach bucket?

I have a Deere 210C no backhoe. On paper I thought that it would be great to use as a forklift. So, I spent the time and dough to convert to SSQA. I think it sucks. I'm about $3500 into the project, and lost a noticeable amount of breakout force when trying to get a full yard bucket of...

    Honda Ridgeline Pickup anyone?

Since buying my new crew cab LTZ 2500HD in Feb 2017, I've put 9500 miles on it. I won't drive it unless I have to tow 5000 lbs or more. In that time span, I have put 30,000 on my 07 Avalanche. The Avy is way nicer to drive, and is ready to haul or tow anytime I need.

Front-End Loader Best adapter to convert FEL to quick hitch?

I did a little research, and it looks like I will get nearly 36° on the grapple. 11° on the tractor, and 25° on the grapple. It's not as great as the gold standard of the LA1055 42°, but it should be usable. On the bright side, I should have 6° more of dump!

Front-End Loader Best adapter to convert FEL to quick hitch?

I'm not real happy with my Washburn adapter. Sure it's built strong enough, but the design is weak. First, the adapter curl cylinder mounts are welded straight up and down, whereas there is plenty of room on their plate to get it right. Second, the latch handles are straight and only 1/4"...

72" MMM on 2520, need input on how it performs.

Does the 2520 have something like this for the MMM lift linkage? The way I read it, if the 2520 requires turn buckles to set the mow height, it doesn't. I'm not real familiar with the 2520 but it seems like if you could add a height gauge like the 1026R, you'd really have something!
