    Labour To Replace Foton Cab

Removing and replacing a big, heavy bulky cab, and everything wired, bolted and connected to it is a big job. It would probably be most efficiently done by a team of two people = 2 people x 10 hours each. That's two people working 5 hours to remove the cab, and 5 hours to replace the cab...

Towed Cultipacker Vs. 3-Pt. Lift Cultipacker - Advantages / Disadvantages?

I bought a homemade roller at an online auction for $40. I had to add a pair of $10 pillow block bearings, and I was good to go. It is filled with concrete and it is deceptively heavy. It works great. The pull behind type is nice because it "floats" over terrain up and down, and left to...

The OP dances to his own music. Says he doesn't want to drill into the ball, then drills into the ball. Start with grease. If it doesn't drop out, end with air. Grease (or 80 weight oil) seals and lubricates.
  23. airbiscuit

    Ideas for cannon ball extraction?

Both ideas are good. They lubricate as well as seal. The grease gun approach basically turns the barrel and the cannon ball into a hydraulic ram. They use the same principle to tension the tracks on an excavator or a dozer. That should be enough force to dislodge a cannon ball! See 1:40

I would probably want something a little bigger than a Kubota B series - Maybe a Kioti CK series? If you are leaning toward the Kubota B series, you might consider the Kubota LX 2610SU. It is basically a B with BIGGER TIRES. See 8:50 in the video below.

    New Holland- Kubota comparison

Probably the sleeper of Used New Hollands is the TC35. It is a Shabura built LARGE FRAME CUT which means it will have lots of traction and capabilities. Not common to find, but a good value when you do.

No matter what size, you really need to try a modded saw. I just got a modded 50cc Echo. Very light, and fighting above its weight. Nothing like having a saw that handles like a lighter saw, and performs like a heavier saw. Win - Win.

I'll say it again, a Bog Disc would be my weapon of choice. It is not just a bigger disc. It is a HEAVY disc with large blades on steroids and testosterone. It is designed to chop and penetrate. It would serve you well if you can find one.

So, who here is saying that a person should throw caution to the wind and put gas in their diesel tractor? All the anecdotes of I did it without any harm, are fine, but some newbys might believe that no harm comes from that. I'll go on record by saying Never Mix Gas With Diesel Fuel.

After I bought my first chisel chain, I never looked back. They cut faster. Any chain dulls when put in the dirt. I do a lot of trail clearing - cutting stumps off close to the ground and I don't notice a loss of performance any worse than a semi chisel in the dirt.
