My friend has lost all the covers for the spouts on his gas cans. I said they look like baby birds waiting to take drinks of rain.

Took down some oak trees. On the hottest day of the year I think.

I would have to get behind it, unless I want to push it down the hill. I definitely don’t want to push it down the hill. That hill is far too steep to safely operate an excavator.

Can't you hook the bucket on the root ball and drag it back up the hill? Your way worked, but in my opinion, taking down trees with a chainsaw is how people get killed.

When trying to figure height of tree, get a straight stick like a yard stick. Hold one end at your nose, other end in your out stretched arm parallel to ground. Pivot nose end up into air 90 degrees, keeping arm parallel to ground. Look across top of stick to top of tree. Move to spot where stick top and top of tree line up, that is where top of tree would land. Basically eqaul side of 45 degree triangle. Jon
