Hope it works for you.

I always watch your videos, I love the bloopers at the end.
That should work as we use that system for high pressure gas too

Agree on the thread's in today's piping, as any burrs or slivers in the threads will cause leaks and a combo of tape and sealant will fill these gaps.

Short story about pipe taping I will never forget as a Service Tech installing etching and acid cleaning machines for electronics in the early 80's and a machine using 92% Hydrofluoric acid was leaking from the piping fittings. (this acid will eat through skin to the bone if contacted).

Dressed up in a hazard suit gloves etc., took apart the piping, and found that someone at the factory had wrapped the Teflon tape backwards (counter clockwise) causing it to bunch up and split the fittings and leak - could have been much worse - people getting sprayed and all sorts of liability - glad it was an easy fix.

So always wrap pipe tape clockwise.

New video this morning. Installing the submersible pump.
Gonna be shocking the well today after I chase down the leaks.

Is there a reason you don't use a cordless impact driver to really tighten down the stainless clamps on the water connections? It is more torque, easier than a screwdriver.

Can't feel the tightness. Very easy to strip them with a cordless driver unless you have a really powerless driver. :)

With just the screwdriver, I was over torquing them and deforming the band. I had to replace several.

Then I get paranoid and wonder, did I strip that one and just didn't realize it so it'll start leaking in six months???? o_O

Nice job, did you use 2 or three torque arrestors? I see you have one just below the cycle stop is there another in the middle at 100'? Usually you don't need one close to the top with casing there is not much torque or movement at the top and no issue with rubbing against stone/well walls.

On the clamps, the Ideal brand SST HD clamps are what I use on the pump/pipe and heating the pipe molds it around the fitting grooves are what mostly hold the pipe, the clamp just needs to be tight but not over torqued.

What;s the benefit of the in well Cycle Stop Valve as opposed to being installed at the tank?
