Studding and bulletproofing helps, but I still blew one up that had that (was tuned for power) and they can still be expensive when stupid little things fail on the road like injectors and IRP valves. Just sold my last one. I'll go slower up the hills and burn gas.

Rear implements are still easier.....but the B26/2920 have a drive over mid mount mower deck that is pretty easy to take on and off. another good reason to buy it, is you can have that 29 h.p. without a DPF or catalyst to worry about.

Well like I said Hay Dude, you are right about diesel still ruling the heavy loads, but if you are like me and not maxing your truck right out, gas is a lot simpler now that the EPA has ruined the diesel engine.

That's odd. They have MANY RTV's here used on wind tower construction jobs where they are working in mud, on mountains and loaded and driven by guys that don't have a penny invested in them, and I've yet to see one fail. That was all the "sales pitch" I need to go buy one.

I have been using Tompson Water Seal on my wood decks but find that although water still beads on it, the wood still gets weathered looking in the sun. A few people have told me to use linseed oil and that it is much better.

My diff lock has been stuck engaged on my B2620 for a long time now. It's actually kinda handy for all the uphill box blading I do on my bush road. LOL Doesn't really tear the lawn up mowing and not causing any tire wear so I'm not really concerned. If it ever fails then I will fix it.

If you don't need a loader, I would look at buying an antique tractor. Far cheaper than new, tougher, more reliable, simpler to work on. I can almost guarantee my 1955 Allis Chalmers will still be working when the new tractors are wore out.

My dealer gave me all the manuals for my new RTV on a fancy little Kubota USB flash drive for free. Maybe check with your dealer. Mine told me Kubota is trying to be big on saving the environment and they would rather download you the manuals for free than have people buying paper manuals.

And though the serial numbers are very close, you can still see minor differences. And a different shade of red paint. I don't think either one of them has been painted, because even the mower decks are that same different shade. You can see the different air filter locations too.
