Hey all, 1035 Massey front axel/differential oil change. What the F$%# is the easiest way to refill. Tiny fill holes in horrible spots is the only way? Thx in advance

I've a funnel with a long snout on it and a tappering hole at the end of the snout that I use to get liquids into tough spots. Didn't make it. Got it somewhere but do not recall where.

You could Goop a hose to the end of a regular funnel and get it done that way. Just let the Goop sit overnight.

I use an empty gear oil bottle (because I use UDT in my tractors front axle) with pointed spout and just squeeze it into the filler holes.

Easiest way to fill it is "patience" I refilled mine with thicket gear oil and talk about sloooooow.

I have a steel flex spout funnel. The flex spout is about 12" long and ends with a small tip. I take VERY GOOD care of this funnel. Never been able to find anything/anywhere exactly like it. AND I have no idea where I got it.

Just remember - the engineers that design these tractors NEVER have to pull maintenance on them.

Amsoil packages gear oil and trans fluid in optional "bags" that works great. So much easier to fill rear ends, front ends and transfer cases without making a mess. I think Valvoline has taken their idea as well.

2nd option is the little cheap plastic pumps that attach to a quart bottle. The work good until either the hose comes off or the suction tube.

Sometimes you just have to be creative. When I was a kid I needed to fill the transmission in my 1948 Dodge I could not get to the fill point with a funnel. I ended up using one of my mom's rubber gloves from under the sink, cutting the end of a finger, filled the glove with 90Wt, put the finger in the hole and squeezed the gear lube in.
