    Poly Pavement Driveway

A few years ago I posted a thread on Polypavement. It is a material that you dilute with water and mix into dirt, compact and let dry. I bought a pallet of it and going to give it a try in 2 weeks. I plan to cover my driveway with stone dust and mix the Poly into that. I have not decided...

    Clogged grease fitting.

I have a grease fitting I have not been able to take grease. I replaced the fitting, tried a device you tap with a hammer filled with PTBuster (like WD40), sprayed the pin with breakaway for 2 weeks and heating up the pin trying to force grease in, also trying to force in grease while working...

    Selling PT425?

I am thinking of selling my PT425, 60"mower, rotary mower, 6 way plow, rock bucket and landscape rake. I want to move up to a bigger machine. I have less than 300 hours. Do you think $6,000 is a fair price?

    Broken Lower Bushing

About 2 weeks ago I broke the lower bushing on my pt425 where it articulates. I was trying to pull it out of some very deep mud that I should not have gone in, it was over 2 feet deep. I cut the old bushing off with a sawzall with a new metal blade. Worked realy good. I then ground it down...

    Mowing  Mower deck spindle

I called power trac today to order a rotary cutter, some extra blades and a pulley for the top of my spindle on my 60" finish mower. Terry told me I had to order the entire spindle because they are now using different spindles. They have replaceable parts. You can take the spindle apart and...

    @#$%^^&*%!! Grease Gun!!!

I own 4 grease guns ranging in price from $10 to $100 dollars. Here is the problem. After I use a gun once the gun will not push any grease, the handles just move freely with little or no resistance. The only gun I can get to work is the small one I paid $10 for. The larger ones seem to only...

    Knee lever

I have been thinking about the knee lever for the quick connect and some of the comments for putting a divertor to control the hydralics on some of the implements. Has anyone tried using 2 pieces of pipe with a 90 degree bend in between slipped over the control lever so it was a few inches...

    Mowing  Stupid Mower Idea?

Is it possible to put 3 smaller hydralic motors on a deck instead of a belt. I think it would be a lot quiter and it would eliminate adjustments and wear parts. My other thought is that spindles wear because a belt is always pulling them into the same direction? You may not even need them at all.

    New Implements

I noticed some new implements on the price sheet at Power Trac. A 9" mini hoe and a boom mower. I wish they would update the pictures for there attatchments

    Power Trac Review

I know I have been a member of TBN for quite a while, and I think the first with a Power Trac (I used to be known as WillingtonPizza). But I just don't have the time to write a review like the Power Trac deserves. Perhaps someone could write one and we would have a base line?? I think it...

    Power Trac Grader Rake

I had a earlier post about making a grader for my driveway. This is what I did. I welded a quick attach plate to a york rake. I had the rake adjusted so I was pushing it. I installed to wheels to the front of the rake. When I push the rake the wheels go first, rake second and tractor third...

    Projection TV Cleaning

We have a projection TV that has water lines that are not on the outside of the screen. I can take the back off without moving any parts, does anyone have experience cleaning the inside of the screen or the projection lenses? I am not sure wich one has the marks on it, you can only see them...

    Gas Grill Problems

I have a large grill that I have developed a problem with. When I first light the grill it is fine but quickly the flame gets very small. I put a new tank on and the flame got big again, then quickly got small and went out. The regulator is only a few year old, I replaced it. Also it is cold...

    Back Blade Gravel

I had a large project to do this morning. Our pizza shop owns 2 houses across the street we rent out. The driveway needed aggregate spread on the driveway and in the three parking areas. I started by bucketing the gravel and spreading it as I dumped. I neaded to spread it evenly. After...
