What you typed looks easy, reading the manual it is a little confusing... Adjusting front axle pivot (4WD)

I don't - was not planning on doing that at this time as I'm just changing the lube earlier than the 400 hours as I bought it used from the dealer- just want to put all the right stuff in. I'd take your direction though on it, regardless of not needing it today. :)

I don't see that greasing the axle pivot is applicable according to the book, just adjusting the nut.

The manual says: KUBOTA SUPER UDT-2 SAE 80-SAE 90 gear oil Why specify 2 options? From what I've read it ships with UDT. Recommendations? I'm looking at buying the AMSOIL SEVERE GEAR® 80W-90 100% Synthetic Gear Lube for it.

I'm glad that there's nothing wrong- I just don't remember if I had this issue last year. Is there anything I can do to improve this? The temperature wasn't cold, it was 32/33F.

What is the range of this unit? Is it 8"?

Are there any cheaper options? $700 for cheap hardware is too much. As of right now, I bolted the deflector up where it normally is anyway.

I am not sure if it is oil or the slobber, I thought oil when I saw it but will examine it closer when I'm home again.

I had the tractor in the garage tonight doing some work, started it up to test something (was working on a snowblower electrical issue) and noticed a spray of black on the floor, it appears to be oil. Is that normal? I haven't noticed it under the lean to on the rocks. I had kept turning it on...

Update, I found a Youtube video of my tractor model and there is a boot there. I'm pretty sure that part 100 is it. I'm going to go into my local dealer and see if they have it.

It appears that part # 100 is a boot but am not clear. I'm checking with Messick's as well. I was hoping that someone here has the same tractor to confirm that the boot is there. That's funny, I was thinking of the same thing...
