Belt jumping on RDTH72 Finish Mower

I did not buy the gearbox OEM. I got it from Messicks. It sits on the deck flat. I should say, Messicks is a Bush Hog dealer and they sent me the gearbox I ordered. It is obviously a Chinese product, but that may be OEM at this point.

Belt jumping on RDTH72 Finish Mower

I have an RDTH72 rear finish mower that I replaced the gearbox on last summer. The belt is jumping off one of the blade spindles. I have no idea how long I run it in that condition, because I don't realize it's off until I smell the rubber burning. I have no frozen pulleys. They all turn with...

Anyone have a scale on their loader?

I don't know if it's the exact same model, but I tried one several years ago that looked just like the one linked in the O.P. It was OK for a general reference, but did not give reliable, repeatable results. To get anything close to repeatable, you had to have the bucket at the EXACT same height...

Can I salvage an older Diesel tank

I have an older steel diesel tranfer tank. About 100 gallons. I have some serious scale and rust issues going on inside, to the point where the filter clogs pretty fast. Is there a simple / low-cost way to clean this tank out, or is it trash? I really hate to have to replace it if I don't have to.

Driving tractor with the front end loader bucket elevated .

I would prefer to not mow with my FEL attached, but I do it for the additional weight. I usually take a scoop of gravel from the driveway to help. That being said, I always keep it low to the ground unless changes in elevation or other obstacles require me to temporarily raise the bucket to...

    Shelf Life of Oil

I found about 3 gallons of Rotella T 15W-40 in my barn this weekend. Unopened, but at least 6 years old. Use it or recycle?

    Back dragging: how aggressive?

It's a contest between the traction of your tractor and the pull of what you're dragging. the only way to find the winner is to push it and bend the cylinder.

    Latest grab by auto manufactures

I read that BMW was doing this on a trial basis in Europe. I believe heated seats only, right now. I have an On-Star subscription for my GMC that allows remote start via my cell phone. If I cancel, I lose that feature via cell, but still have the function on the key fob. I don't know if that's...

Pulled the trigger (finally) kubota L3901

Congrats! I know it doesn't seem like much, but I would fill the fronts, too. Can't have too much ground hugging weight!

Buying Advice  Considering Bobcat CT2040 CT20 series

I have looked around and seen virtually no posts on the 2019/2020 Line of Bobcat compact tractors. I have a decent local dealer, and pricing (compared to Deere, Kubota, & New Holland) is very good. I would like to stay with New Holland, but their dealer situation in my area is weak. Has anyone...

Mowing  1026R Drive Over Mower Deck Attaching Problems

I have a 1026R that was new to me last year. I was able to attach and disconnect the deck then with no problem. Now I cannot get the arms to drop down to connect to the bar that hangs the mower. It is hydraulic lift. I have connected the appropriate hose to the hydraulic line. The arms behave as...

Stay with NH or make a change to closer dealer

I'm seriously considering parting ways with my 2002 TC35D with about 375 hrs. It has been a great tractor with a few known quirks, but the dealer around here is no longer a New Holland dealer. I have been looking at either the Kubota L3901 or Deere 3038E. I have to say that neither one of these...

    TC35D Key Ignition Switch Questions

About a year I took my 2002 TC35D to a local Kubota dealer to have some minor work done. The nearest NH dealer is over an hour away, and I figured they could handle it. For the most part, they did. Except that the ignition switch failed while in their possession, so they installed a Kubota...
