I see almost across the board higher prices or smaller sizes/less features, etc…Everything is increasing, apparently.
The great enI see almost across the board higher prices or smaller sizes/less features, etc…
The only area I have experienced large price declines is local real estate… but that’s for another discussion.
Is anybody using the lower tier offerings? I'm thinking about dropping down to 100 or 200. I never see 200 anyway.Mines also going up to $130, from $120 ... Once I retire I'm shutting it off!
I've got the 100mbs plan and it's been fine for my wife and I streaming. Is anybody using the lower tier offerings? I'm thinking about dropping down to 100 or 200. I never see 200 anyway.
Same here. I got the notice yesterday. The same day auto-pay went in.Mines also going up to $130, from $120 ... Once I retire I'm shutting it off!
I don't get the 400mb I'm paying for either, it averages closer to 200mb.Same here. I got the notice yesterday. The same day auto-pay went in.I've only had Starlink since February. Or was it March. I may roll back to the 200Mb. I never get the advertised 400Mb speed I was promised.

I'm pretty sure there was never a 'promise' of any particular speed. It would have said "up to". Speeds are always conditional on situation, weather, obstructions and position of sat in the sky, as well as network traffic.Same here. I got the notice yesterday. Upcoming Price Adjustment
Starlink is rapidly increasing network capacity, expanding coverage, and improving reliability to deliver faster, more consistent connectivity for our customers.
Pricing has remained unchanged for most Residential customers for the past several years, and strong demand for Starlink reflects the value customers continue to see in the service. This adjustment supports ongoing improvements and investment in affordable, high-performance products and services as global operating costs continue to rise.
Beginning with your next billing cycle on or after June 18, the monthly price for your Residential Max plan will increase to $130/month. You will continue to enjoy unlimited data for 4K streaming, gaming, video calls, and high-speed connectivity.
If you have any questions, please visit our FAQ. You can change or cancel your service at any time from your account.
Thank you for trusting Starlink with something as essential as your connectivity.

I received the similarly formatted email for the Gen3 from $120 to $130/mo and for the Mini's standby from $5 to $10/month. I logged into my account and asked the 'Grok' helper for justification. Grok told me to disregard the notices and if I see a change to log a ticket.
So don't get angry - just communicate with them.

Could be because I have the older gen 2 system compared to your gen 3.
They aren't going to send notices to every customer and then be like "never mind". AI chatbots can be useful, but they can often get things wrong, especially when it comes to recent changes. The data their models are trained on is historical and made up of many data points. The ones that are consistent are the ones that drive the decisions/answers. When something changes like this pricing model it may take a while for the model to get things sorted out and update to valid responses.Related to the price increase:
