Thanks, I know it's a home depot cheapie and not professional, I'll just wing it when I get bored with a good rated aftermarket on amazon or ebay...
It's basically a strato poulan. The newer strato poulan IMHO are turds.

I compared 3 to a PP260 older non strato plastic one and no comparison in cuts.

I tested my electric corded poulan a coworker gave me, against a strato and it was close.

Older non strato left. Strato right. Pistons on strato ones heavier too.

That looks much better than some. It sure seems the China clone parts are overall improving, Found the crank intall tool and the 28" Farmertec chain and bar for the G 660.

I got caught up watching some YT vids on cylinder changes to the Farmertecs and decided to keep the included farmertec cylinder to maybe try porting in the future and looked for the Hiway kit pop up but stock CC that Haychaff and Sawdust mounted and dynoed , did not see it listed at Hockfire's site so I ordered one from Wolf Creek.
Hope it runs well. Never run anything bigger than the 700 ProMac yet.

ps. That new air filter was really needed. A little carb adjust and the MAC was almost impossible to stall and gained some RPMs, and I had taken the rakers down on the chain hands are a bit numb today though... I hear the big Husky saws are very smooth is that true?

Husky antivibes since 3 series always been smooth.

I can tell the difference going from a 346 to a 501 and going from a stihl 440 460 to a husky 372.

Why stihl been going to coil spring antivibes too on their newer stuff.

Old pic of comparing a 1st year 1999 OE 346 to a echo I run now. The huskys are smooth. Nothing felt.

I dont see how people can afford 20+ for less then full gal.

I mix batches of my Efree 5gal at a time. Then I got my boat I fed only Efree too.

But when I seen some on clearance for 6 bucks for almost those gal cans at 40:1. I did buy 6 to have for ER times emergency's.

Been testing 1 gal starting on 2nd year in everything just to see on tanks of use. I havent seen no difference yet compared to my 40:1 Efree and VPracing oil 40:1. Idle same, rpm's same, throttle the same. I havent even had to change tunes on anything yet.

Know how to read the date they were made. ;) 2 years after opening and 5+ staying closed.

That’s a new one. Never seen someone try to use silicone sealer on air filter halves.
I just use light coat of grease myself if felt needed.

I let my group know this today.

So your aware.

Just so buyers know. Shipping up going across the board.
I noticed UPS is like 4 bucks surcharge last 6 or so boxes.
USPS going up another 8% they say due to higher fuel cost.

That added a new pita to clean af.

Filter fit tight still.
I’ve seen these older twist on be loose.

2 out of 3 new clips for top cover installed after getting broken pieces out.

25 years old. 2001. I kept thinking it was a 03.

Friend in WI that has got into the chainsaw racing up there. Ask me what saw to use for a 46cc limited class.

My suggestion was OE 346 45cc. They can be bad to the bone even on alky/nitro.

His class is just gas pro stock. But they will still fly. I had OE ones ported for work and gtg plying way back.

He split the cases for new bearing and seals on his project and even bought a wiseco 42mm piston another friend has made south of me. Wiseco not in pic.
