Heck, you can carry both the Kubota ZDs on that. :)
I can on my current Pequea, too.
Going to use this for the ZD’s, smaller hay deliveries and future CTL.

Appalachian is an economy brand of trailer. Nothing fancy. I had a Appalachian gooseneck for years and it was fine.
No “Diamond-C”, that’s for sure, but I don’t need to spend $20,000 for what I’ll be using it for. This trailer was a little over 1/2 that.

I do like that it has the W 12x16 12” frame and 12-1/4” x 3-3/8” brakes.

Super singles like the trailer pictured ? Or dual tandems?

I went with the super singles since I already have a dual tandem.

I like super singles but they pull like an anchor. They’ll get you stuck in a hurry.

The only place I don't like my super singles is when loaded heavy in soft sandy areas but it pulls great to me in the rest of my uses and you will absolutely love the 17.5 tires over the 16's as they are tough as nails, congratulations on your new trailer, it's gonna be a great week brother.

Nice trailer! Looks heavy duty, the 5500 will be a good match. It is 20k rated with 5k hitch weight, equipped with a pintle hitch coupler. The 22k ball coupler will derate it to about 2.2k hitch weight or about 18.2k gvw rated, still a serious trailer. It should serve you well.

From the manufactures web site.

GVWR 20,000 lb. - Capacity 15,000 lb. with 5,000 lb. Hitchload

  • Heavy duty adjustable plate for pintle eye (ball hitch N/A)
