So how are the RTV 500 series these days? Any good improvements? I have a 2010 RTV 500. It has treated me well since new. Just a turd in power, stiff ride and low ground clearance. But its starts up and runs every time. I have a love hate relationship with it. Only has 200 hours on it, but the cheap vinyl seat covering cracked on the edge of the seat a while ago and something in the rear brakes/wheels clanks around from time to time and I haven't diagnosed it yet.

I think I’m on my third set of seat covers on mine. I’m back to a more OEM type now, A replacement set I bought that was camo did not hold up well.

Wish the seat back had some recline to it. It's pretty much straight up.

Was using it today running stuff out to the gate. Had a new wall and gravel walkway made around the east side of it. Needed to put our delivery box back and to install and new solar light for the walkway.

Kubota has it by what 50% more weight and geared differently?

It should drag it around, why not just hook it to a large quad for the same effect?

Nice new unit Ralph. I see - all your snow is gone also. At one point I actually had 9". The next day - 6". It went to green grass pretty fast here.

Mines still hanging in, had to replace an original tire, ripped out the sidewall. Had it overloaded on dry rotting 20year old original tires. Got another one that leaks at the rim/bead, have a tube I need to install for it. Did a full service hydro fluid/filters, oil/filter fuel/air. Been a great machine, hard to believe it’s over 20 years old now.

Yeah...mine too. Have to look at the paperwork, thinking late 2003 timeframe. First introduction.

The bed though, crushed three tailgates, and the sides and bedliner itself have some serious rust. The gauges stopped working years ago, but it always starts right up and still moves well.
