This morning we saw a tiny bit of snowfall but driving North just 10 miles started seeing cars with snow on them. Wonder what Floridians thought and trees starting to bloom & snow that quickly melted.

I've never seen animals like that in my part of Indiana.

I need to find some use for them (or start throwing them in the trash) because I have a big stack. The only use I've found so far is a handle for a bottle opener. I just don't need that many bottle openers....

Nope, those were from our 2012 Alaska trip. Since the thread title is cool nature photos I included them. I took this from my back yard during the last eclipse here.

This buzzard lit in a tree next to my house and kept staring at me as I worked next to the window in my office. Maybe he thinks I'm looking old and decrepit enough to be buzzard bait.....

We stopped by my homeplace a while ago and a large bird landed over the driveway about 50 ft up. It's blurry through the windshield. I'm thinking hawk or falcon? It was guessing 10"-12" high and flying off 30" wing tip to tip.
