Branson / TYM main shift arm repair

Hello, new TractorByNet member. If I am posting this in the wrong forum excuse me and I will get corrected. I have a 2016 Branson 2400 / 00 Series. My main shift arm broke and I am trying to replace it. As far as the position of the shirts forks, I am not sure I am getting the forks in the neutral position. On my first attempt I placed the forks as in Photo number one, I got the cover on the gear box and everything together, but tractor would no change gears. I have not tried a second attempt as yet, and I am hoping for the feedback. I am thinking the forks need to be placed closer to the position in photo #2 ? Also, I have been reading that the gear rails need to be in neutral as well, but I am not sure how this is achieved.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well, I went for round 2 with this, got it all back together and now I only get reverse gear. Any thoughts ?

i figured this out if anyone ever has the same issue. Pretty simple once I found out what I was doing incorrect.

Glad you figured it out. There is a Branson section on this forum, I found a lot of help there with mine. Welcome to a great community of tractor enthusiasts.

Well what was the fix?? If you figured out a solution, you could/should have posted it so everyone else would know in case it's ever needed.

Glad you figured it out. There is a Branson section on this forum, I found a lot of help there with mine. Welcome to a great community of tractor enthusiasts.

I thought there was a Branson section too, but I just looked and didn't see any? Where is is located? Probably out in the open and I just didn't see it. Point me in the right direction please.

I found it. hidden away.. Along with the TYM section. I don't know what's up with TBN but don't like having entire sections disappearing and then coming back in altogether different spots!! If this is some kind of "upgrade" I'm not in favor of it!!

I, too was looking for the TYM section...

Where did you locate it, and I wonder why it was hidden in the first place?

After the suggestion,I can’t find the section for Branson either.

You need to scroll way down to the Equipment Forums area, equipment by brand, we used to be listed up in our own section but no longer!! I don't know why either!! All the apparently offshoot brands are lumped in a hidden section now. Disappointing I must say!
