Below is a photo of the 3rd function fittings on the loader of my Kubota MX5800. What fittings on a new grapple do I need to specify? Hoses are 1/2”. Tia.

These are Pioneer style - with a detent pin. The other choice are the flat skid steer style. Also I like to use a male and female on the machine and the implement so you can plug the ends together wihen not connected.

So I need just to order 1/2” pioneer? They just didn’t look like the ones on my implements I use on the 3pt, so I wasn’t sure.

Just order two female and swap the one male you have to the grapple. As stated before with a male and female on the implement just connect them together, also it keeps the controls the same.

I would suggest cleaning off the dirt from the base of the connector and looking for any numbers or brands. Because there are 3 different styles that look very similar, ISO 5675 which is the standard AG connector, but some compacts and other equipment use ISO 7241-A or ISO 7241-B. The 1/2 inch ISO 5675 AG connector will plug into the ISO 7241-A, but will have a flow restriction because of the different lengths of the Poppet tip . Also the slightly different diameter of the tip will over time start leaking.

Measure them after you google fitting size diagrams. Try learning something new.

Thing is, I spent several minutes googling hydraulic fitting profiles. Didn’t see anything close, so I came here to at least get headed in the right direction.

The two most common fittings are what was discussed here.

If you are still unsure, just unscrew the fitting on the tractor and go to; Hydraulic shop, Tractor Supply, Tractor dealer etc, and you can get two female fittings to match - simple.

Success. This is the actual fitting. Faster 2NV-12SAE. Appears to be 7241-A. https://www.motion.com/products/sku...5y61Ieaw5xhkJBG0kxgnoSzXBbs7qBjz677nmofVx5pM2
