So, $1100 for tires on my 2006 Dodge 3500 farm truck last week, and the turbo took a dump yesterday. $1500 later, parts are ordered and on the way.

And just to make sure I don’t get bored, I need to do some front end work on it too. All for a truck that sees less than 5000 miles per year.

My justification for dumping money into it is that I’m not paying a note on a truck that costs twice what my first house did like some. :)

Not any scientific evidence to prove my theory besides a few family members car deer incidents but it sure seems to me white colored vehicles are deer magnets, not to mention only deer I ever hit was with my late mother's white car. Besides I just don't like white colored cars, never did.

Close to $1000 for wheels to mount my snow tires on in a month or so, that will be another $1300 or so.

Then my Retrax bed cover went on yesterday. Still have to install the drain tubes.

I try to avoid buying White trucks, drove so many work trucks that were white that I prefer colors. The past few have been Granite Gray and Patriot Blue.

Ordered a Stainless Works true dual exhaust for my F250. I went with the Legend series, because I will be driving the truck for extended hours towing a trailer. If I was mostly driving around town, I would've gone with the red line. Also, I considered the headers. But man, those things are expensive!

That thing is SWEET! Is it restored or original condition?

I keep my old 185 around for the same reason (and also because of sentimental attachment....). The 38" deck is really handy for tight spots.

The owner bought since new and did regular maintenance. No restoration just kept up with. I had to go out 2 1/2 hours to get it.

Had to buy a tire for the RTV900, but then couldn’t get the bead to seal, ordered an inner tube which did the trick. That leaves 3 original tires, which are 21 years old. I ripped the sidewall while moving dirt. Kubota wanted $206 for the tire, I found it on line for $156 but then two inner tubes cost $35.
6 ply tires.

We have 2 larger U.S. General toolboxes in the glass shop, the 42"X23" and the 34"X23". We have the 30" 5-drawer toolbox in the stables. Has worked out great for a few tools and horse stuff. The new service cart is for the glass shop, the old Rubbermaid cart goes to the garage.

Bought a set of some less expensive off brand battery adapters got two for less than 15 bucks so my aging fleet of 18 volt dewalt xrp tools can run the newer 20 volt batteries up north. My 18 volt xrp nicad batteries are definitely on there last legs. (A few are from 2006) and were definitely used and abused Read quite a few reviews on all the aftermarket adapters hopefully these are better than DeWalts first gen adapters I bought several yrs ago meaning if I forget and leave a battery in tool it won't kill battery due to a Parasitic discharge like DeWalt original adapters did and hopefully easier to remove a battery and the adapter from the tool itself. 🤞 I'll post on Amazon stuff that doesn't suck if they live up to my expectations or post on Amazon stuff that does suck if there junk, initial test of a 18 volt xrp sawzalll with adapter is definitely easier attach and detatch adapter tool works as expected with 20 volt battery. In comparison I can't even get the older DeWalt adapter off without using tools to press the tabs off my small hand held DeWalt 18 volt wet dry vac.

Yep, I have the larger one's in my little shop. This is for the tools up at the house.

Picked up my old flip phone and the back fell off. Upon investigation, found that the old battery was swollen up to the point that it popped the back cover. Bought a new battery for $35 and it worked for about one day, then quit charging and the phone quit working. Phone was probably 8 years old or so.

Bought new and improved flip phone for $140. Battery store would not take battery back (probably a wise policy). The new phone has internet access (didn't know any flip phones had that). Didn't necessarily want it, but it was the cheapest phone they had. Supposedly our plan includes two lines so monthly rate stays the same. Will have to see about that....

So finally got my plasma torches consumables in today as much as I dislike online purchases at least they give the "small fries" the time of day unlike a few local places. Plasma cutters good as new along with ordering extra consumables so mid projects I don't have to improvise 😂.
