got the phone number of repairman Popgadget recommended, googled the guy
and it was all positive with one reviewer saying fully satisfied over 28 years.
So this guy has seen it all. And i have a generic cheap dishwasher hopefully he will have the
part for.

might surprise you but most reliable dishwasher is Bosch with Miele right up there, the Germans score on dishwashers.
But you don't put a two thousand dollar dishwasher in a rental house for sure.
They mentioned Whirlpool as making the first cut, thinking a cheap basic Whirlpool would fit the rental requirement.
darned dishwasher stinks of burned something. Going to check if it's on its own breaker on panel, want to flip it off.

I'm not sure about LG, they have had a lot of class action suits against them. Maybe better now.

I'm looking at all those containers go for a swim and I'm thinking guess it's going to be
awhile before that replacement TFAL frying pan comes in. My old one has a ton of use and it was time, and there was quite
a backorder date for Amazon's number one pan. Now I see why.

One of my regular digs. Been going there since 30 years before it carried that name. IMO, it was much better back when it was run as the Sign of the Sorrel Horse, but it's still an experience.

My sister actually had her wedding reception there.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of -0.4C and it's presently 17.3C, clear with a slight breeze.

A productive run 'into town' yesterday for groceries.

A quiet afternoon followed until I saw two horses cantering passed my living room windows! The "Mad Horse Woman's" had escaped from the adjacent property, down that driveway, along the 100kph roadway and onto my property. I was able to get one straight into Paddock #2 and then gently 'collar' the other one and lead him into the same paddock. I left them there until the "Mad Horse Woman" came (she lives elsewhere) and could ascertain how they got out. [= unsecured gate]

I received a bottle of Pinot Noir for my efforts.

More signs of Spring; there are 3 'plover' (masked lapwing) chicks in the paddock, the 'welcome swallows' have returned and the wattle & blackwood trees are in bloom.

Nothing planned for today. That's about it, take care all.

I was shocked to 'wake up' to this news this morning.
I knew of Charlie Kirk primarily via YouTube presentations regarding Christian religion. He was a man of great faith and will be sorely missed.

Called my Dentist. Got an an appoint met for 3:00. Took 1/2 hour and I was on my way home with a new filling. Grocery shopping in the morning. Then at trip to east side to visit with my wifes Cousin. I'm off to doc appt late morning for dealing with results of my mri. Seems strange they sent me out first for
the ultrasound, then a regular xray, then an mri, and now they want me to get a CT. A little disconcerting but need to know
why I am accumulating fluid in my hip.

Vt,48 to start going to 72. Looks to be another sunny day with bright blue skies up here today. We got up here just before 6 pm last evening and we were treated with a beautiful sunset

Today as soon as it brightens up out there a bit more I will start removing the old decking from the porch. As you recall I did the deck this past spring because I wanted to do the project in cooler weather rather than working in the heat of summer. Well it’s time to get started . Dennis, your welcome to come up to lend a hand

The Dovre DV750LP heating stove in the kitchen area of our house here has developed a problem of not starting when I increase the thermostat to a higher temperature. I can get it started by lightly tapping on the gas valve with the end of a butter knife and the stove will start then. I bought a replacement, thermopile, thermocouple and igniter with pilot assembly from Fire Partsout in Michigan. I believe the original thermopile is in the stove. I have replaced the thermocouple twice in 24 years. So if this doesn’t work I will buy a new gas valve.
Paul any thoughts on this ? Have you ever encountered this problem ?
