On a tractor, it's usually just a smaller radiator in front of the engine coolant radiator.

Here is an example. Just happens to be from a LS tractor.

A lifetime ago I worked in R&D for a pump manufacturer who made pumps for Navy and commercial ships. We would set up test rigs for them. Just pumping water through a test loop in/out of a ~10k gallon test tank could heat the water to the point of boiling it if you let it go as is long enough.

Very true. To start a pressurized water nuclear power plant, the circulating pumps are run to raise the temperature to boiling at a high pressure to create a steam bubble before going to "nuclear heat". The "work" of the pump has to go somewhere and that's heat and pressure.

Right on...The Marble Hill PWR only produced electrical power during a test of the turbine-generator set using steam generated by operating all four of the reactor coolant pumps (some 7000KW each)

Well after mowing an hour with ambient temp of about 80 degrees, gas tank was 135F. I had about 4 gallons (maybe less) in the tank. I’d imagine with a full tank, the diesel doesn’t get quite as hot since there’s more liquid to absorb the heat exchange. But, if you’re using the tractor all day, may not make a difference.
