I have this weird plant that grows from the floor of the pond all the way up to the surface. It’s really gross and ruins the pond.

Agree with Moss, Kind of looks like Eurasian Milfoil, and it has been a real battle to control it in the shallow areas of the local lake here- a two decade long battle. If it is milfoil it is considered an invasive species.

Are there fish that eat Milfoil? My town has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars controlling it in a small lake.

A new air filter. The original was clean enough, but...

Years ago I had a friend, engine builder and SS/A drag racer. The started his engine one day and it didn't sound right, then saw something coming out of a header collector. With pliers he pulled out a shop rag. Then he remembered he laid it over the Holley Dominator the night before.

Thankfully not, but a plastic bag courtesy of some tourist from Texas.

Can't quite comprehend how it made it past the filter.

Bag got in the intake, blocked the filter, then the suction caused the filter collapse, allowing the bag thru.

Well, the sealing edges of the filter were fairly intact, but at some point there must've been enough suction for the bag to slink through.

I'm sure those blowers ingest a fair amount of air when stepping on it, even though the max positive pressure in the intake isn't all that high.

"Lake weed/lily removal" is the thread title. I just dropped some pictures. Sprayed last Sunday and again this afternoon. It is getting some kill; its going to take atleast 4 applications; maybe more.

Seals and gland nut for the #2 Rhino tractors Koyker FEL cylinders.

I forgot just how much fun (not) stubborn gland nuts can be when they have been untouched and out in the weather long term.

Literally ruined one of them -but at least it is loose now and new ones fully loaded are available.
