Good (Sunday) morning. Overnight Low of 4.0C and it's presently warmed up to 5.1C with the sun just rising. The predicted High is 14C. It's also clear and calm. There was 24.5mm in the gauge @0730, the majority of that was from yesterday morning after I checked the gauge @0900 (50.5mm), so the total for the 'event' was a nice, round, 75mm.

As per usual, I'm off to Church (leading a Morning Prayer service) in about a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

I got 2 out of 3 jobs done. Then my autistic daughter had a meltdown due to forgetting to take her meds. So, gave her the meds and then took her for a 2 hour ride in the country, with stops at a grocery store and a bakery.

The new fuel pump is in the Steiner Beast and she cranked up fine. about $28 on Amazon. It is a duplicate of the original but just different color molded plastic. Still a lot of blowby out of the little Kubota diesel, but maybe it'll last another 5 years because it is about the same as when I got it. Just change oil annually.

Then finished the hydraulic cylinder off the FEL. I had ordered kit from A&I but it didn't have the orange teflon piston ring seal. I dreaded going to Deere, but something special happened. They only had the seal in the full rebuild kit which is $$$. The young parts guy spent a minute measuring the kit's seal then he went over behind another part of the counter. He came back with 2 of them new, and handed them to me. He said they came out of their "incomplete kits" that have already been "written off"...I said how much and he said I could have them. I handed him a $10 and said lunch was on me. Saved me some $$$.

Coffee is cooling in cup. 72° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 88° with mostly sunny skies. All rain stayed south of me by about 15 miles yesterday. Did get lights for directional signals mounted and wired. Still need to run wire from rear of Mule to dash. Not sure if anything will get done today. Because of outside warmth and humidity.

Good morning, the low is 67 and going up to 84°F. Sunny! Wind W 3 mph. Heat warning in effect for today and tomorrow. Cooling on Tuesday.

Between the smoke and the heat and today being Sunday, nothing is going to get done today.

My daughter-in-law had COPD (On O2), Fibromyalgia, and I think early onset Dementia. She opted for Doctor assisted suicide. She had asked me about it and to be honest I think it is the cowards way out. I asked what about the Doctors creed, their hipocritic (sp) oath? Well she is gone and has been for the past 4 years. (The quack killed her.)

I already got my morning goobers into me, so I guess I had better eat.

light rain last night, about .10 in gauge, cloudy today with more showers later
no plans for today other than doing laundry

yesterday wasn't very successful.
I tried again on the rv spark plug and no joy.
carefully went up that new tall ladder to check out rv lights and not happy to find
oems seem to be glued/caulked on; no exposed screws on marker lights. Hard to believe they
have to be pried off.

nice dinner with my brother last night, they barbecued salmon which was delicious.
at dinner he asked me for a dollar bill.
what do you want that for?
just give me a dollar. ok.
then he hands me a three inch round bumper sticker.
Solebury Township police foundation sticker. Hmmm.
He has one that says charter member, since he helped start it years ago.

I have no bumper stickers on my car, sure don't worry about tickets at my age but
will consider sticking it on my pristine Lexus bumper, at least the colors don't clash.
it just shows local support but then everyone here supports the police
folks even put signs up in front lawn saying we support our local police.
Never understood reasoning behind that, maybe they are new to area and want to fit in.
It's like saying support your local firemen, of course we do...

I think the last bumper sticker I have had was a small peace sign in the 70's.
which brings up a similar issue, my neighbor across the street and down one house, who used to have six
political signs put up, all message signs, we believe stuff. Fine. But six was a lot, I think someone said something and now there are four out, two on each property corner, right on the road. The message is relevant, but the clutter is ugly. In my brother's senior community they allow zero signage and everyone is grateful.

Morning all!
62 going to 75 with hopefully some needed rain falling today.
Yesterday we got our walk in and then proceeded to putter around and just enjoy the day.
This morning I will spend some time cleaning up the shop and then we will head to my sisters for a visit.
I need to string trim and weed but it can wait till the weather cools. Looks like another hot week coming. Will work early mornings while it's a bit cooler.

Good Morning from Central Texas.
Nearly 6am, 78.8 degrees, 78.2 dew point. Forecast all week is sun and 95-100, which is typical.
Probably mow about 1/2 the yard area today over septic field and "good" soil. Unfortunately, the grass will not dry out good from the dew early morning. After mowing, will try to hide inside the rest of the day.

Kiddos must have tired themselves out yesterday they are still asleep upstairs. Quiet here for a few more minutes anyway. Parents should be home by early afternoon. Will probably have to make another pound of bacon this morning

Hope to get a long walk in before church service, will have to see what the weather has in store.
