How could Artificial Intelligence become dangerous?

My recent college grad got a job teaching. She is frugal and is renting a house with 2 others. Her salary will only be $35k, but she says it's plenty for her. Note: more than 3x my first 'real job' annual salary and I had to work 12 months to earn it.

Starting pay at Costco here is $35k

I can't see how a college education can result in anything less than say $60-$70k. That is nuts

Our oldest kid put herself through grad school, rented half a duplex, bought a used car, and worked for 6 years on $35K a year. The job had great insurance and 401K. She saved up enough to quit and attend post-graduate education. It can be done, folks.

Contrary to what some people believe, private schools pay about 80% of what public schools pay.

In Tennessee, public teacher retirement pay is pretty solid, especially for someone who lives a long time. Private schools …not so much.
