Back before the dead internet when a guy could readily find things, this was easier to puzzle out. Now with the truncated search results I'm having trouble identifying less expensive alternatives for the 4-pin 70A T4180-69951 and 5-pin T4180-69961 which hang out under the hood, as well as the 5-pin 20A T4180-69941 relays that populate the fuse box.

Quick search shows the 951 at Walmart for under $10, the 961 on ebay for $8 and change. No luck on the other, but might check Digi-Key or similar. I'm sure someone's already posted a link.

As I suspected, it turns out that Kioti uses standard relays. The only weird things are:

1) Under the hood the tab is on the opposite side of the relays I have so a guy will need to twist the harness to plug in the socket.

2) While using standard relay sockets for a automotive 5-pin and square 4-pin, the OEM relays are slightly smaller than standard. This matters in the fuse box because the relays are jam-packed in tightly.

All to say I have NOT found a replacement for the 69941 20A 5-pin fuse box relay.

But for the 69951 70A, a cheap 4-pin normally open relay will work. Amazon.com: EHDIS 4-Pin Relay 12V 80A Automotive Car Relay On/Off Normally Open Car Truck Boat SPST Relays High Power Model JD2912-1H-12VDC 80A 14VDC [2 Pack] : Automotive

And for the 6996130/20A 5-pin, just get any 5-pin that is normally closed on the 87a pin that switches to the 87 pin when energized.

When companies divert from a common, standard, reasonably price product so you have to purchase from them at a stupid overinflated price that really pizzes me off. Good thing there's people around that don't mind making a few changes to save some $$$. Sorry, the fact that a person has to jump thru hoops annoys me....in case it's not obvious LOL.

The OEM T4180-69941 relays that were manufactured by OMRON are 25.7mm square, so I called Digikey to find an equivalent. Talking with a tech, I powered the OEM T4180-69941 relay switching hot and ground on pins 85 and 86 thereby confirming that the OEM relay does not have a diode, and the Digikey tech determined that Digikey part number 3385-AZ9731-1C-12DC3R1-ND should be a proper replacement. FWIW, the Kioti T4180-69961 is the same relay except it has a tab and Digikey has that option as well.

If you look at the Data Sheet of of the following link, you can see the variants of the relay.

I ordered 14 relays and got to pay an additional $8.65 in tariffs because apparently American Zettler who makes the Digikey-sourced relays must manufacture them in China.

For the record, the Zettler relays ordered through Digikey are ever-so-slightly smaller than the OEM T4180-69941 relays and so they will fit just fine in Kioti's fuse box as a replacement. The Internet can thank me later.

I use standard 5-pin relays in a variety of things other than Kioti tractors and at $2.80 each plus tax, shipping and tariff, the price was right.
