Make hay while the sun shines.

Too wet to ploy.
Walked to school uphill both ways with a potato in my pocket.
Like finding a birds nest on the ground.
Finish your plate. Starving kids in "another country" would kill for that.

I guess doing this is "better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick". Lol.
