I kept up with my 14 yo nephews son, but barely. RV now fully waxed, looks much better but boy
am I tired. I did some waxing while he worked up top, then I changed the oil in the rv generator.
Then I picked beans. Sweating a lot, had to put a sweat band on to keep salt out of eyes.
91 out now, going to stay in a/c for afternoon.

FWT, the farmer's market I think you are referring to is the Central Market, and have gone there twice now.
marvelous place. Would never take rv downtown, my friends come to campground in Gordonville and we drive in.

only one downside to going to Lancaster.
horse poop on my rv, always need a hose off when I get home.

David, enjoy happy hour

Lou, I usually just leave my Massey in 4 WD , maybe I could save fuel if it was just in 2 WD 😉
My Mower is a Kubota F2000 from 86-87 which is a front deck mower and 4wd engages the small wheels in the rear. It's a bit worn and also reduces the turning radius a bit. So I usually leave it in 2wd except the areas that I know I'll need it.

Managed to not get the mower all covered in mud yesterday by stopping after feeling wheel slips.

The mini split is fluctuating in fan speed a sign that it needs cleaning I think. The first one I checked wanted 600 dollars for a cleaning so need to check a few more and decide on doing it myself or pay for it

Yep, looks abit damp.
I have been having my mini-splits serviced and cleaned every other year, last time it was $150 per head for the inside heads. They actually had a plastic bag with a drain hose into a bucket and washed the inside fined head.
I was surprised at the dirt that washed out, as I clean and change the filters a couple of times per season.

Lou, I think I can count the number of times my Kioti has NOT been in 4wd. I am always on dirt, so just leave it in 4wd.

Have a safe day all
My mower (F2000) I shift it in and out a dozen times many days, for more traction or better steering.
My little Kioti has the backhoe on it much of the time and with the loaded R14 tires it is usually in 2wd.
The Branson and NH are usually in 2wd except for ice or packed snow. and the old IH doesn't have a choice being a 2wd tractor.

Nice table story Ken
House sales have slowed way down in my area.

Spent day on the deck. Have it almost ready for deck boards
Top 8x8 section just needs a board for picture framing, got 3 new posts installed today. Step needs a post yet, then it’s ready. Lower 8x12 needs joist ends cut and rim put on, and posts.
Had an unafraid groundhog come near me, I threw and hit it with tape measure and it didn’t run. Got a shovel and it went away slowly. I figured by time I went in for a gun it would be gone, but maybe not.

thunderstorm boomed through, dropped .64 rain and dropped temps to 75
still raining lightly
bet the gardens loved it

I once had a rabid ground hog charge me. I think I was 15. It came after me on the mower, I went back and got the shotgun
and sure enough he came out and went right for me. Single shot shotgun but a dose of that in the face and it was no more.
Thereafter I thought having five or six rounds made a lot more sense.
you just never know what kind of rabid animal is out there. I also killed a mangy rabid red fox around that time too. It was running around in
circles biting its tail in the center of road in front of our farm lane, frothing at the mouth. Must have been some bad road kill going around
Haven't seen anything similar since, never saw rabid animals in NC where I was.

Last week the largest red fox I've ever seen peeked its head around my garden shed, took one look at me and headed off into the woods.
Beautiful animal, healthy and large
a chicken's worst nightmare

Sun came back out after that heavy downpour so I took the opportunity to get some stuff done outside.

Fed the kitties.

Those would be 2 young cats from the feral momma who dropped her litter under the neighbors porch and then decided to bring them over here.

Then went over to the barn for the live trap … which will be used to capture said kitties and hopefully the momma as well so they can all be spayed/neutered and put up for adoption.

After that it had clouded up again but wasn’t raining so I used that opportunity to get those 9 okra plants in the ground.

Also cleared the weeds out of another 18 planting holes and did a little more trimming on the tomatoes.

Around that time I was hearing thunder and rain was threatening so I came on inside and had a bite to eat.

Got another 6 tomato seedlings potted up: 2 Trip L Crop, 2 Crimson Cushions, and 2 Sunny Boys.

Just had another heavy downpour with thunder booming, still raining.

Trash day is tomorrow, so refrigerator clean out is on the menu for this evening.

I went to Walmart to get an American flag made in the U.S.A.
No rain forecast for the next 10 days, starting to turn the hose on in the pool to replace evaporation.
