Your radiator is old enough that it should be repairable. Look for a local radiator repair shop.
That's a thought from the past Roadworthy! There are no more radiator shops anywhere - they'd all rather just replace - not repair! Plus, regulations forced most out of business.

Not true. These people did my 1980 Ford 1900 gazillion dollar radiator when it had some leaks and plugged up a bit inside. They soldered the leaks, cleaned it up and I put it back on for another set of years use. At the time it was already 40 years old.

Tell me please - Tractor Tech - I follow and appreciate everything you've said in this forum - but is that statement meant to be a + or -? Seeing as you sign in from Ca also!
I do agree that Calif has shot down any attempts for shops to comply with the general publics wishes. There used to be radiator/battery rebuild shops in Oceanside (this former Marine knows!) but they have disappeared. One can only assume it's due to severe regulations. That's the shame on Ca. for small businesses.
